For the first time this season, The Great RSL faces an opponent that they already played once this season, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, where we went to Texas and came away with a 1-1 tie. For this rematch at the RioT, Dallas has decided to "sex up" their line-up. The starting line up is as follows:

    ----------------------------------------------a blond cheerleader---------------------------------------------------------
    ---a blond cheerleader-----a brunette cheerleader----a redhead cheerleader-------a blond cheerleader---
    ----------------------a blond cheerleader-----a brunette cheerleader----a blond cheerleader-------------------
    ----------------------a blond cheerleader-----a redhead cheerleader-----a blond cheerleader-------------------

(Hey, what do you call a brunette between two blonds? A translater!)

Dallas is hoping that the sight of so many scantly-clad females on the soccer pitch will distract RSL from their game. Maybe this is the only way that Dallas can field a team that is entertaining. We shall see.

One interesting thing to consider, FCDCC's play in Chicago on Wednesday before coming to the Riot. One team will be rested the other on 3 games in 8 days.

FCDCC's are in a funk and I hope RSL can keep them there.

ohhhhh man, i could only imagine if FCD actually fielded a team of cowboy cheerleaders. i would probably have to fly in for that one. as long as they actually played in their cheerleading outfits. and of course the sprinklers came on for short intervals of the game. and their outfits were white. and they were wearing nothing underneath. and then we could do something like this:

yes, that would be quite awesome.

RSL needs the 3 points to stay on top of the league, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

We will be without Rimando and Beckerman perhaps Johnson and Sabo as well. Biggest loss will be Beckerman hope we can overcome.

Johnson will not leave until after this game, and will only miss Open Cup matches unless Canada advances. The other three will miss at least the Dallas match, I believe.

I'd argue biggest loss will be Nicky. I think Yordani is a much much MUCH better replacement than Reynish.

    ---------------Reynish
    Tony----Nat--------Olave-------Wingert
    ---------------Yordani
    ------Grabs--------------Willy
    -----------------Javi?
    ---------Espy-----------PJ?

I'd prefer to see Bonfigli get a start over Sabo (assuming he is gone).
I really hope we have Javi on the pitch for this one.

Pretty sure Sabo doesn't leave until after the match.

    thank god
though, I'm sure we'll have to miss him for some matches this year.

The one positive: when he is gone we could really see who is more "right" in that "great sabo debate"

The only thing that scares me about this lineup are the two redheads.

come on now, you cant tell me you wouldnt enjoy some sweet dallas cowboy cheerleader vs RSL action. even if just for the sake of seeing RSL undress (figuratively, for you, literally, for me :D ) those pompous bitches in a game of soccer.

I don't think you or I want to hang our hats on 3 or so matches, although it will be interesting if Paulo or Bonfigli can step up and produce. Would be nice to have Sabo knowing their is a viable alternative at forward. May Logitech a fire under his ass.

Dr Freud: So Georg, along with your constant hate on Alvaro, you associate a 'mouse' brand with the same Mr. Saborio's ass...interesting...tell me about your childhood.

Logitech is a pretty good brand for computer peripherals so I think the analogy is spot on. :D

What's up with Enzo? I thought he was our super stud from the draft. Will we at least see him in Minnesota?

according to the RSL Show, Schuler and Wingert are both likely out for this weekend.
    That sucks

    ----------------Reynish
    -Tony----Olave-----Borchers----Tanaka?
    ----------------Yordani
    --------Ned---------------Willy
    -----------------Javi
    ---------Sabo------------Espy

That sucks at outside back. Will better be covering a ton of ground, as usual, to make up for that loss.

It also means that the USOC game lineup is going to be interesting

Or we might see Will fill in at the right back spot, with Tony on the left. If they aren't confident with Tanaka in there...
