So what was the good and bad after the first game? What needs to be changed before Tuesday night?

I was on the front row in section 134. Had a great time taking in the game in the new stadium.

I'm not affiliated with any direct group at this time. Did the groups get to be seated together for the most part, or were some separated because of the GA seating arrangement?

I thought placing all of the instruments in one area was a good idea.. and that things sounded great coming from them...

Did you stay in the section listed for your tickets? Mine say 134, but I don't think they care where you are as long as you have the wristband.. maybe I'm wrong about that.

How many bleachers were broken? Should they stay? More or less dangerous with or without them? (Not that I feel it is really dangerous either way... though having them break with people on them can't be that good...)

Here's to another great atmosphere against Portland and for the rest of the season.

long time no post but here goes
Had a great time sat and want to thank someone that we have shade in 133!
I stood near EB and had a great time.
Do we really need to start breaking bleachers? Respect your home
I love downtown location as you can park for free if you are willing to walk a few blocks also
plenty of places to eat and drink
Tonight will be real test as I hope that FO has not killed all the walk up sales. I have been going to
Rob since 06 but never had more then 5 game plan due to work etc. I could always get a ticket in fact
one day i left ticket at home at talked my way into press entrance at ROB We do not want to make this to corporate this year season tickets even though I will miss some games
Halftime Sat reminded me of a Texans game mostly empty seats at start of 2nd half
I just hope all egos ckeck at gate and all support the Orange sing stand support

Nobody broke the bleachers on purpose. That's just gobna happen with people jumping up and down out of excitement and passion. They will all be broken by mid season.

    Hello new friends/family,

I'm extremely excited that y'all have decided to stand in the Supporters Section. All of this is going to be an alien experience at first. I will not lie to you and tell you that it will be easy to jump aboard and already know everybody's name, all the songs, the history, and be able to follow some of our quirky little traditions. There is only one sure way to join in on all the fun which includes: watch parties, a whole new set of friends, merchandise, songs, non-Dynamo related activities, brotherhood, and oh so much more. That one sure way is to mingle! Nobody is here to cause you harm if all you want to do is learn. Do not be afraid to ask questions. Everybody is here to have fun. Of course, we are also here to support our city and team, but the best kept secret about Supporter Groups is that in the end, we all just want to make more friends and feel like we belong to something much greater than ourselves. There are a few of us that'll be glad to dedicate our time to showing you the ropes. If you stand next to some of us and ask us, "what are they singing?", we'll gladly start singing next to you and even slow down so you can catch on. There are some songs in Spanish, and if you do not know Spanish, guess what? If you're willing to take your time you may just pick up some vocabulary. There are many people in "La Hinchada", just in case you were wondering that means Supporters, that are picking up Spanish while standing with us. Do not let anybody try to "recruit" you. Picking an SG is something that you should do on your own. From afar you'll probably feel that everybody kind of mixes together, but once you're in the trenches, you'll soon realize that while we're all wearing either orange or black, there are clearly groups. At first, try moving from one group to another and talk to somebody that seems friendly and ask them what's going on. After doing this for a few games then, if you want and I do mean only if you want, choose an SG. However, let that be YOUR choice. Do not let anybody lie to you or tell you some bad stuff about any other SG. There are literally hundreds of members and every single one of them has their own freaking side of the story. They'll each SWEAR to you that they know the full story. That's a whole lot of horseshit! There are a select few that know A LOT of if not MOST of the story, but NOBODY KNOWS THE FULL STORY. As you can see, I'm a freaking talker that doesn't know when to shut up. I'm obviously known for that around "La Hinchada". I'll just end this now before I keep on rambling some more. Don't be afraid to PM me or ask me questions through Twitter, Facebook, or here publicly. If I can answer them without violating any form of trust, I will answer them. That usually means I'll probably just answer general questions, but go ahead and ask!

    Sincerely,

    Leo Ponce

    P.S.

There's one great thing about joining the Supporter Culture: AWAY TRIPS!! Have you ever wanted to travel to another city but don't want the full burden of hotel and cab costs? Well for certain games you may be able to split those costs with somebody else, and tour a city with a friend or fifteen. :D

Here we go again. Bleachers broken, who to blame??? Why don't they use all the cameras they threatened us with instead of just blaming one group. There was definitely members of all groups there, even one of the leaders of another group standing there beating a drum for almost the whole first half.

No, they have to be in 3 hours before kickoff. Hard to get them there at 4:30 on a weeknight.

It sounded like 2010 Rob all over again... except two different sets of sound are coming from the same side. Slightly annoying. Y'all need to handle y'alls business and get everything straighten out, seriously..

... but I already know that's not going to happen.

The security last night was out of hand. They cracked down on everything. Unbelievable that it is a "rule" to not be able to have an orange bandana covering your mouth to show team pride IN THE SUPPORTERS SECTION. They want the atmosphere to be like an Astros game. ********ing pathetic.

On Saturday after the match I saw three bleachers broken in 134.One over by me in 134 got broke when about 5 guys that where jumping up and down all came falling back and the back of the bleacher just snapped! One was in the TA section ( I say TA because the guys where in TA shirts).
But now all the blame is on El Batallon , the Front office has caused and issue by moving our group to section 133, and TA/LB behind the goal. They (Dynamo Fo) and BBVA Compass security are the ones to blame for the supporter groups being split.
Now the whole SG section is no longer on the same page.
Section 133 is over crowded, no longer safe for me to stand with wife and my kids.

If you want this fixed call the front office and tell them how you feel.

I'm an unaffiliated guy and stood with Brickwall and EB in 133 and it was packed. The back of my legs are bruised from the sharp edges on the bleachers. It was messed up that there were people quietly sitting and eating nachos like they were at the Astro game, between the supporters. I'm not sure what it sounded like but I imagine it was garbled. The energy levels in 133 were intense though, and i had a blast.

    Thanks for the support!

It was so jacked up, I didn't want to put my 3 kids in danger.
    What a safety hazard!
If the fire marshall was around to see it the FO should have gotten a fine!
At the Rob we had a area where we could tell our kids to cheer at and feel safe.

Oh and BTW jVilla you are 100% correct!

Did not know about the stoppage time clock thing? I see it displayed on tv all the time. Or do you mean can't be displayed in the stadium?

Anyone know why? Whats the purpose of not letting the players/coaches/fans know how much time is left in stoppage time when they let you how much there is the rest of the game?

Those extra minutes are left to the discretion of the Ref. Only he knows when he stops his own personal watch on his hand for injuries and the such. There have been games that have had like 15 minutes added on. This was due to an injury or something weird like a bees' nest in a goal. I'm guessing it's the whole left to the ref's discretion bull. Just like they don't have replay for goals that may or may have not crossed the line or even for offside.

Stoppage time is left up to the head offical. So when the stoppage time is announced they always say, "The 4th official has indicated there is a minimum of X minutes of stoppage time." The head ref can actually add more time if he feels it's warranted. Since the head ref can add more time at his discretion there is no reason to display it since the game may not end at that time.

I understand that but it's not like they can't show the clock and if t goes over the allotted time the clock can keep going.

What I really hate is when they say "there will be a minimum of x minutes..." cause thats bullshit. I've seen the ref stop it before X amount of minutes.
