What a crazy game . We've been in too many this season ! I worry for my health ..

The trio of Nene , Pastore and Menez were great . The defence still worries me . I don't know , it seems our defence has become worse since Ancelotti arrived . We shouldn't be conceding 3 goals to Valenciennes , although two of their goals were deflections .

Anyway I'm really proud of the team for fighting back after a bad start

3-0 for PSG against Rennes, Nene scored a hattrick. Menez had a great game, once again. He really improved a lot during the second half of the season. There are much more intelligence and variety in his game, since his repositioning by Ancelotti that allows him to get even more freedom. All he needs now is to become a better finisher but he's clearly the best French player in L1 and the gap between him and the rest is bigger than the atlantic ocean.

At least, PSG secured the second place which is a good thing for the upcoming season, however the chances of winning the title are now really low since Lille owned a retarded goal at the very end of their game against Montpellier.

Menez is a very good player, but he's not the best French player in Ligue 1. Yann M'Vila, Olivier Giroud, and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa have had better seasons than Menez.

I stopped reading after you mentioned M'vila who has been bad with Rennes for 1 year and a half.

Very good performance . We started a little tense but I always felt we were in control and the chances would come . Although Nene scored a hattrick Menez was the best, he was threatening every time he had the ball and created alot of opportunities . As Nicolas.N said he just needs to become a better finisher . With the positions he finds himself in he should be scoring alot of goals .

We probably aren't going to win the title now after Montpellier's late win but you can't say they don't deserve it . They've just been a little more consistent than us . The drop points against Lille and conceding a late equalizer at Auxerre is where we can say it was lost .

    Nene = 21 goals , 9 assists . Boss

M'Vila plays on a garbage Rennes team, the kid is world class, and he will be a star whereever he goes this Summer.

I'm going to give PSG alittle credit for this season, but OL and OM are down. And Montpellier has had a better job then PSG this season. Nene has played great this year, but he has alot of help, by playing alongside Menez, Pastore, and Gameiro.

I wonder how Leonardo feels about Nene since he didnt bring him in. He clearly deserves an extention but he's not even a lock to get one.

Signing Nene is one of the only things Colony Capital has done. We can thanks the lack of media coverage of Monaco which resulted in only 2 clubs being interested in him : a greek one and PSG. Supposedly, Monaco offered him to extend his contract with a higher salary than what PSG offered him and the greek club too and he choose PSG over these two options. 5 millions for Nene is a steal even if he had only 1 year of contract left. Nene is always doing his best, he hates losing even while playing video games according to his former teammate, Adriano. What he's doing PSG, he was already doing it at Monaco when he came from his loan in Spain except that he had to carry the team on his shoulders alone, he was involved in practically all the goals of Monaco.

I still remember when he left Monaco, Courbis said that his departure would free the other players, somehow the same thing we've heard when Henry left Arsenal. It's something I did not understand and still don't understand. How is losing your best player, the one all your offenses rely on the cheap a good thing ? He was totally wrong, it ended up in Monaco going down because of the poor quality of the rest of the team and the players who replaced him. Most of them are playing for Nancy now, it says it all.

Speaking of players with strong character, Menez complained about the ref taunting him during the match against Rennes. Chapron has been involved in a lot of shitty stories this season. He taunted Deschamps too a few weeks back. The worst one was when his assistant was accused of racism by Chafni. The affair has been scandalously shut down. It's not something new, everybody remembers Veissiere who was doing it all the time and in particular during the cup final against Auxerre he taunted Mendy who got reded after getting mad about it. I can't believe we're still at that.

About Nene he was great last season aswell ( especially the first half ) so it's not just because he's surrounded by better players he's performing great now . Of course it helps but Nene was great last season too . If it wasn't for our useless strikers who needed 10 chances to score a goal and AK's persistence with Edel the clown as the first choice goalkeeper we could've achieved much more last season .

You are right that it really is the only good thing Colony Capital has done for PSG . Since joining he's had 2 very good seasons and on occassions has step forward and took responsibility . He can be abit fiery but he is a big game player . And more importantly he loves the jersey and the fans

I haven't noticed it earlier but Gameiro named along Pastore and Menez...[IMG]

He's the biggest disappointment at PSG this season, even bigger than Lugano and is no longer playing. He could play the last game of the season against Lorient because Menez is suspended, though. Signing in a club as mediatic as PSG, totally put his many weaknesses in the spotlight. Let's start with what he's good at : he's very mobile, fast, is doing good call can create spaces for the other players because he's constantly calling the ball. However, he's totally lost confidence thus he's not really using his qualities properly, lately.

His biggest problem is not even confidence, he's really bad at too many things. First, technically he's below average whether it's beating a defender, controls, his shooting technique, his passing ability...He's really fast, so often he beats the defender thanks to his speed but is losing this advantage because of a poor control or because he's not strong enough. For example, against Lille, many times he had the opportunity to be in a 1 on 1 situation with Landreau but Chedjou got the best of him physically even though Gameiro was way faster than him. He's also bad in the air and is not doing enough pressure on the opponents' defense.

If you combine all of these : poor technique, bad in the air, physically weak, lost confidence, he has no future at PSG.

i think kevin gets one more season for me with PSG to show what hes got his ball control is whats questionable i think he can still shoot and run fast , pastore needs to give shorter passes to him why being pastore wants higuain for that reason

Gameiro has been a disappointment . I had big hopes for him but it hasn't worked out so far , but I am also willing to give him another season before I lose all my faith in him . I paid good attention to him last season as I really wanted us to sign him and comparing then when he was a Lorient player to now it doesn't seem like the same person . He doesn't look confident and he rushes things too much . He needs to relax . It's not a fluke that he scored 22 goals last season , and 17 goals the season before

But maybe the pressure of playing for PSG might be too much for him which would be a shame because I really thought he could be our new Pauleta

A good end to the season . Despite losing out I think the team has displayed a strong mentality in the last few games which is encouraging . Next season will be telling

Happy that Chantôme finally got some playing time from the start and put in a solid performance . Hopefully he's convinced Ancelotti to play him more

A shame about Hoarau suffering a double fracture . It's said he'll likely be out for 6 months
