FC Buffalo (NPSL) head coach Dan Krzyzanowicz has arranged for some local spotlight friendlies leading up to May 13th's NPSL opener. Get your 2012 season ticket scarf before they run out. Less than 10 remain! The highlight of the preseason schedule is a return trip to Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester, home to the USL Pro's Rochester Rhinos. The match will be a 2 p.m. affair on Tuesday, May 8. Ticket info is forthcoming, but we're hoping to have some to give away. Additionally, the Blitzers will spend April 29 mixing it up with some of Buffalo's top collegiate soccer clubs: St. Bonaventure, Medaille and Niagara. More info on that forthcoming.
It was School Day. Local school children were bussed in to attend for free so they can hear safety tips from police and fire officials.
