So far when I've tried it it takes me to some random post in the middle of the thread OR it would take me to the first post of the thread. And if it is working in some sort of "remember the last post you read" manner, then that is definitely a downgrade from what was working quite well before. I guess Huss is still working on this.
Have you tried a second time to a thread? This has happened to most of my watched threads the first time I go to first unread. If you just jump to the last page, or wherever you really left off and read to the end, then next time you go there it will be in the right place.
Select Mark Forum Read. You'll lose the currency of the past day, but as new posts are made, you shouldn't have any trouble going to the first unread post.
Is there no quick emoticon panel or do I have to type stuff to get them? If so is there a list I can revise from? :moody:
I don't have that or the font options or any of that panel at the top of the Post Reply section or when I click on the more Options button actually. I do have an upload file button though.
Another example of why the new sig capabilities are a major problem. Can you fix this, please? Lots of us will be gone if people can put this clutter all over the boards.
Agreed. As this is visual, this is going to the biggest issue really quickly as some posters have already shown how it is annoying. This is one of the few features that I think BS needs to revert to the old.
You can uncheck "Show people's signatures" in your browsing preferences, rather than taking the new sig features away from everyone.
A question about my previous post, made about 5 minutes prior. At first I got the time out message that has been occurring to some. Then I reposted and the post appeared to go through, but BS stalled on a blank page. After some going back and forth, and some refreshing, I to back to the Customer Service forum, but the post was not noted as being present. then I click on a few BS links, and came back and the post showed up as having been posted 5 minutes prior, yet it had not been noted to me as being posted until I started this post. Glitch?
How about the number of threads in a forum? Can we hide the older threads like we used to be able to?
Again: that would be a lot of forums. A lot of my posts are scattered through: there is no specific sub-forum/area where I post. I hope that Huss will revert this to the old system and/or make it work similarly. I am hopeful, though: seems like "My BigSoccer" is something still being tweaked and that hopefully means it will work like the good old days.

It's not my problem. Just think your expectations might be a little unrealistic. They're still trying to get the content and bugs sorted. I'd imagine extra functionality like MyBS is still a little way off.

Nope, not just you. Several have stated in this and another thread, but there was an indication that it was being opened. I sure hope we get access...soon. Surprised it is not a bit higher on the list. Specially since I also don't have access to the recycle bin to move posts/thread. Also was reported by a few in the Bugs/suggestions thread.
