It got some of my sizes wrong when comparing with my adipower size. Maybe I just have weird feet but I wear a 10.5 in Adipower, 11 in CTR and it said I would wear an 11.5 in Tiempo elite.. I think I would be an 11 in tiempo elite.

I'm going to order the MV8. I just hope it's half decent at least because I really love my Superflys. My Superfly is a 10.5 and I went to soccerpro for a loose conversion for the MV8 and they recommended a size 10. Is that a fair answer? Do you know how they get that answer? I would hate to wait 5 weeks for the cleats and then return them due to size and wait another 5 weeks for more to be made. BTW, why does it take 5 weeks for Nike to make a custom pair and could I get them sooner?

Hmm. Maybe you have to take the stretching of natural materials like leather compared to the maestri and legend elite which are synthetic and do not stretch much into account. The "app" probably based its measurements on the boots before they stretch?

I got to see the new Vapors in the store tonight...WOW!

I was getting rather tired of Nike's marketing and hype, but it may just be worth it!

The new Vapors have the softest uppers I have seen since the MV1! In fact, these are much softer. I would compare these to the softness and suppleness of the Puma V1.06, except, these aren't fabric, and seem far more durable.

I am more than impressed. I am shocked. Well done Nike!

Has anyone used the Nike Mercurial Vapor 8 for a while? I want to know how shooting with them is like and if I'd be smart to invest in a pair of Metasox :p

Shooting is great IMO and I don't need extra socks. I think it would remove the purpose of the thin upper.

I am soooo hoping i get a voucher for my Tiempo's so i can get some iD vapors!! Black Safari and white tick, or vice versa but probably not after hearing about scuffs.

Also, how much would i get if i got a voucher, it says nike will issue a voucher depending on condition etc

ye you would get the full retail price but Nike UK hardly ever give out vouchers - unfortunately for you, you will most likely get a new pair of the boots you send it

A few years back I got some Nike 5ID which I designed and ordered at the Liverpool store, for some reason I think there was a small tax but I'm not certain. However this may have changed anyway and may vary depending on method of order etc

    2 questions;

1- what is the difference between the 2 insoles you are offered on nikeiD? IE is there any major difference? I was probably going to get cushioned as i get blisters easily and then i wouldnt have to buy the trusox, but if i did get trusox i could use the responsive insole anyway. so what do you think??

2- Where are the nikeiD vapor's made? IE what country?? The retail vapors are made in Bosnia and Italy i believe? The china models are what you want to avoid i believe so hopefully they're not from there.

Really? I've spoken to a couple of UK guys and they got vouchers. and secondly, when i was speaking to them via email, i said "i would like to get a nike credit because i have never had a pair of boots break before so i dont want to get the same model back, so if i had a voucher i could choose from another model" OWTTE
also, the boots i sent in were probably too small on me so it would not be ideal getting a new pair!

I would have thought that the price INC VAT, as thats how most things are priced in the UK??

Does anyone know if you ID a pair of Nike's online, can you select for store pick up? i'm wondering because i live in Canada and don't know anyone in the states that could forward them to me but i will be in NYC for a week in the near future so if i could get them sent to the store and pick them up that would be great

vat is added already but im was on about import/customs tax if you buy something from abroad and get sent to you, if it goes pass £18 as goods or £40 as gift you are going to pay 20% of what is worth and then alittle more for handling depending on the weight
