Those Vapors look like they have a Carbon Fiber bottom.

 

Nah Pedro's has glass-fibre. Quite a few players are in the Vapors now. Be interesting to see if more big names move into them

 

The stud pattern isn't a special new one. It's the same one as the old vapor 7's. It seems like a lot of pro's are using it over the new design.

 

i think juan mata uses the FG version with the twin studs rather than the SG pro.

i remember watching a u-21 uswnt game where leroux just ripped a banger into the top corner from like 25 out and it's safe to say i've been a fan ever since, she was wearing laser ii's at the time

Yeah, she wore Tiempos during her college days, but shortly after she was drafted by FC Gold Pride she made the switch to CTR's.

Everyone else is in Black-out LZ's, but Kaka's are all-white with one of the 'Lethal Zones' (first touch, as the article seems to suggest) coloured in Red.

I thought maybe they're still trying different materials for some of the zones - but surely there's no way they'd still be testing stuff like that this close to production?

Nah, they aren't Nike Basketball ones. I'm also quite intrigued as lots of players wear them now.
