All he is is a poacher, not much of an all around player just a big body. Has no pace, not much dribbling ability. Hes the perfect super sub, not a guy who plays 90 minutes. If he gave more effort defensively and came back to midfield to field passes he'd be so much better.

This is okay in the Dutch league though. Goal poachers can thrive in that league. Vitesse play with 3 attackers, and the wingers are very good at getting the ball in the box so as long as he can continue to get above the defenders, he'll score goals.

He has to be careful not to chase money to the the bigger leagues where teams expect more from their center forwards.

Next year, Maiku will be a ********in' phenomenon. Bony will be sold and Havenaar will play and score like 20 goals.

    Am i dreaming too much?

Wow a goal where he actually uses his feet haha.

Havenaar could score 20 goals in the Dutch League. Hes a great goal scorer, I think he just needs to be more of an all around player. Track back, hold up play, not just roam around waiting for crosses.

Bony will be sold, but we just have to wait and see with Mike.

I agree, with the national team, he just stay up front and wait for balls, I want him to help out the midfield and play a bigger part.

I think he needs to improve and help more the NT or the younger Ibusuki will take for him the CF position for the next 10 years!

He needs to do more in helping out I agree. However as far as receiving crosses goes; the midfielders in the NT seem much more content to just boot it to him when he's on the field. That's something they've gotta figure out themselves.

Again? So often it seems the case is like this: Japanese player joins his new club; settles in with a batch of solid displays; then the rumour mongers are up and about, saying he's supposedly going to join Milan or whatever [like Sakai]. They're relatively new to the club ffs.

I think Mike would be better suited to finish out this season and then another with Vitesse and secure a starting job and then move onto the Italy or wherever.

4-4 in Plovdiv. Actually, that's incredible, Vitesse is way better than Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
Havenaar didn't play.. until Bony is in Vitesse, there will be no space for him, even if he confirms himself as super-sub.

Entered as a sub after 71' in the Europa Cup qualifier against Anzhi Makhachkala today. Vitesse lost 2-0.
