If they can't get up for this game, then we are well and truly ********ed. ;)

They're two points behind us. If they win, they move ahead of us.

    WE MUST NOT LOSE.

Well if they can't get up for this after 3 straight league losses then it is time to admit that many of them have to go.

    I predict a win.

I'm beyond predictions and expectations with this lot. Just hoping for the best. Agree with others that if they can't be arsed for this, then we've got a lot of clean out to do.

You guys have me so confused. Who is they, who is them and who are us????

Seems like there's a bit of dissociation going on here. :D

If they, the current bitter ones, beat us and go ahead of us, I'll be bitter, and get a glimpse into being a blue.

Well, they're riding high after grabbing 3pt against Spurs (which is something we haven't done in ages) and we've got our collective manhood in the dirt so it won't be easy. If we don't grab all 3, clean the entire house out in May and rebuild for the 3rd time in 3 years.

Manhood in the dirt??? No wonder we've had such poor results. How can we expect to win with that tactic?

I imagine we'll win this one. It's part of the cycle where, just when we think things can't get worse, we win a big game and then we start talking about winning the league.

    1-1

Kuyt gets an early goal, we lose concentration and they level late.

Of course, Kuyt probably won't get a start and we'll win 3-0. :D

15th place Aston Villa are only six points behind us.

    Enough of this losing bullshit.

Our lads need two goals to win. Agger won't play, and Carragher/Skrtl, while not a bad pairing, will probably concede a goal to some Blue Meany.

Gerrard should be fit to play some if he doesn't hurt himself in training.

Johnson is available, I would guess, and he offers more offensive punch than Kelly, but he won't be match fit, prolly.

Adam should sit this one out. He really needs the rest.

Not my team but what I expect Kenny to play. And for the record, I do not want Kenny replaced.

There is no way we lose this after our recent form. I'm expecting big performances from Suarez and Kuyt, who'll make up for his earlier pen miss this season.

Hopefully Maxi will start with Spearing and Henderson anchoring the midfield and Adam rested.

Adam needs to come down w/ gangrene or some other kind of infection.

I don't even want him on the bench.

Like most here, I have no idea of how we'll do. Perhaps there'll be a plan this time.....Nah!

Wonder if your dad was at Goodison same time as me for the Derby when we had 80,000 others there. Those were the days when, if you broke someones leg you might have drawn a caution. Look at someone now, you'll get a 3 match ban.

no Adam - so even Kenny has seen that he is completely off form now.

I wish that were true; to me it's just rotation.

I'd much rather Kuyt start than Carroll, but I think most of us would.

I really like those warm up jackets they've been wearing lately. Anyone know if they're available for purchase?

Everton seem to have weathered the early storm. Did anyone see Downing looking for someone to cross the ball to? wtf?

Entertaining so far. In the sense that there are some comical displays of skill on show.

Aaannnnnddd Stevie G floats one into the back of the net. Beauty!

Good goal, too. We miss this thrust from Gerrard when we play him deep.
