Thanks for the offer, but the Huang and Zhang I created actually have identical stats to the official versions that EA made.

I only made one modification, which was to give Zhang higher speed.

I'll put Zhang Linpeng and Feng Xiaoting as the main choice CBs now (I think just about everyone here would agree that they are a better combination than Du Wei and Li Weifeng).

If anyone has a problem with this, just let me know.

Wu Xi, Zhang Linpeng, Yuan Weiwei or even Li Jianhua should be picked over Liu Jianye.

On FIFA I have Wu Xi as the main choice RB, I actually don't have a second choice RB in there because of Zhang LP being able to play there...

    my recommendation: (total 25 players)

    Goalkeeper (2)
    Yang Zhi
Zeng Cheng/Zhang Lie/Jiang Bo (any is fine, they will not likely take over Yang Zhi for times to come)

    Right backs (4)
    Wu Xi
    Liu Jianye
    Zhang Linpeng (conditional right back)
Zhao Peng (conditional right back, I remember he played as right back before)

    DMFs (2)
    Huang Bowen
    Zhao Xuri

    Centre backs (3)
    Zhang Linpeng
    Wu Lei
    Jin Jingdao
    Feng Xiaoting
Zhao Peng (very sad to announce, we will see him for time to come)

    Left backs (2)
    Zheng Zheng
    Rong Hao

    Right midfielders
    (2)
    Hao Junmin
    Yu Hanchao

    Central midfielders:
    (4)
    Chen Tao
    Deng Zhuoxiang
    Liu Jian
    Zheng Zhi

    Left midfielders: (2)
    Feng Renliang
    Yu Hai

    Forward: (4)
    Yu Dabao
    Zhang Chengdong
    Yang Xu
    Gao Lin

i took out sun xiang because i think he will be gone after the two matches. zheng zhi would be gone too. i can't see them playing against spain.

So for now, (not done yet, I have some creating to do) I'll make these changes:

    IN Jin Jingdao
OUT Li Weifeng (everyone is happy)

    IN Rong Hao
OUT Sun Xiang (as much as I like him)

    IN Liu Jian
OUT Wu Pingfeng (kinda happy about this one considering the naming issues)

I am confused about Wu Lei, I thought he's an attacking midfielder?

I won't put Liu Jianye and Zhao Peng in there, unless any of you seriously want them in there?

I'm not sure about removing Du Wei, Han Peng and Li Xuepeng. Another thing, I think 9 defenders out of 25 players is a bit too much... I like the idea of using a player like Yuan Weiwei (who can play both sides as a full back) to decrease the amount of defenders.

    What do you think?

I don´t think Jin Jingdao is a centreback, if i remember correctly he was more of a central midfielder or even attacking midfielder when i last saw him play at the AFC U-19 Championship.
Wu Lei aswell is an attacking midfielder/forward, and not a centreback.
But i might be wrong though

    you are right puck

i mistaken wu lei as bai lei lol, and i remember watching jin jingdao playing as fullback during his china team debut against costa rica a year ago. i might be wrong because that game has too many new players.

    cfb:
now if wu lei is an attacking midfielder, i might take him away lol since there are too many midfielders. but for zhao peng..i still think we will see him for years to come (he is 27 and would be considered as experienced).
it is your choice to leave him in the squad or take him out.

du wei - you can leave him if you want, but i still think camacho won't call him up anymore for whatever reason.

yuan weiwei - if it helps the fifa squad, sure why not?

li xuepeng - no comment, i support the idea of including him in the squad.

i think we should change the squad after the kuwaiti game, everything is abit too premature now.

I replaced Wu Pingfeng with Yuan Weiwei and messed about with the numbers each player wears.

You can all have a look but I don't think I will be making any more changes until we see the match against Spain, unless (as usual) anyone here wants something in there.

Also would be nice to get some more feedback on how well the players faces match their real life faces.

So the usual question. Anyone want any new players in the squad ? Or should I wait for the Albania/Spain/Vietnam friendlies ?

let's wait for the spain friendly first.
so we know if camacho sticks to 4-2-3-1 formation, and we know what players he will use (it will most likely be the strongest china squad we will see).

btw, i think the albania friendly has been cancelled

    a) spain is the top team for this year, to prevent china from getting mulled by a huge margin, the best/strongest players need to be chosen. eventhough winning spain on away ground seems to be impossible, but losing by less margin/draw would be acceptable. (and to do this, camacho would most likely use his strongest squad in a 4-2-3-1 formation)

    b) if the home team uses first team players, generally in good manner, the away team will use first team/strongest team members too (unless it is prearranged like the China U-22 vs. Malawi match)

    c) many people will be watching this match for sure, including scouts and people who never watched chinese players, this would be the best opponent to showcase our talents.

    d) the purpose of playing spain is to test our squad, if we don't even use our first team/strongest squad, the purpose of this friendly is defeated : /

    hope i make sense :)

of course this is the china forum, we would want china to win.
but let's be a bit realistic here...spain (world champion, backbone players are from barcelona, with extra talents in most fields) playing home against a china team that has yet to be fixed yet (spain has been with the same coach for many years).
if china lose 2-0 or less..that's a pretty darn good result.

i remember a while ago, portugal vs. china (venue: somewhere in portugal)
it was widely tipped that china will lose by a margin, ends up china lose two goals.
not bad, but it was obvious that the chinese attack during that time needs hell lots of tune-up.
maybe spain can help us exploit the true weaknesses of the team.

Yeah I remember that match. Think it was the one that Portugal took a while to score their second goal. Thing was i think that match had no precedence to a major tournament and was just a regular friendly, whereas as CFB pointed out in the other thread, its Spain's final match before euros, plus Spain is the reigning world and european champions so they need to not embarrass themselves and win by more than 4 goals or else the Spanish media will slaughter them even if it is a friendly. I predict a 5-1 drubbing (yes...somehow I think we'll score 1 goal)

ok i think after the spain game. the following adjustment is needed:
    - zhang linpeng positioning be CB/RB (i remember cfb mentioned ONLY ONE POSITION can be used, if so, please make it RB)
    - zeng cheng becomes god, and we have to worship him every sunday (hallejuah)
    - it seems camacho will use 4-2-3-1 from now on, which means, we need more DMF for our formation, so Zhao Xuri, Huang Bowen, Qin Sheng, and Lu Peng (maybe) will be needed for sure
    - liu jian remains as the supersub that camacho love to use
    - yu dabao plays two positions (if possible, it would be AMF/ST; if only one allowed, it would be ST)
    - zhang chengdong plays two positions (if possible, it would be ST/right winger; if only one allowed, it would be ST)
    - zhao peng, ahem, welcome to the team, you are on probation now, any weird shit from you for the vietnamese game you will continue to get discriminated by me (boost his stats please)

we might need to remove du wei, because he is most likely not coming back to the squad.
deng zhuoxiang said today he won't be back until august, rong hao is similar time too.
i recommend keeping deng, but if we need to make space, rong hao might need to be sacrificed :(

It doesn't necessarily HAVE to be like that lmao, we can make adjustments, this is something I want everyone to agree on.

So far here is what I'm going to do, PLEASE SAY IF YOU DISAGREE

    OUT: Wu Xi
    IN: Qin Sheng

Move Zhao Peng up to 63
Move Zeng Cheng up to 68

As for double positions, I can only give one position per player (you must pay money to put more) but their statistics (speed, crossing etc) mean that you can play, eg, Yu Dabao who is listed as a striker on the left wing and it will work no problem.

ALSO: Rong Hao isn't in the team, I remember being sad to remove him because I like how I did his hair haha.

Who should replace Du Wei ?

i was just playing fifa and realize han peng is there
bad news to all you han peng fans, he is not constantly featured (or even playing) this season at shandong luneng.

perhaps we can use wu xi to sub han peng (because we don't have alot of rb)
for lu peng, i dun think that guy needs to be in the roster, that guy is in team china because of huang bowen's suspension.

to replace du wei, you can consider the new cb dude zhang li, or hao junmin's sub: wang xiaolong (of beijing guoan)
