Is the detroit mls dream over?

    The steps that can be taken with the league have been taken at this point. This is also true of a number of places with a similar interest in having a team. IMO what we do now is show that is this is a good market for a team. This would include supporting local teams, as well as, pushing for and attending any friendly matches/national team games that get scheduled in the area.

    Some locales have taken to the tactic of harassing the league and specifically the commissioner. I don't see that as productive.

    Garber has often acknowledged he gets a large volume of contacts from Miami MLS supporters.

    For me the best option is to support our local teams (we have two now!) and make sure you presence at the national level can at least be seen. I think that Detroit AO has a good reputation of always showing up. Even in Italy this time!!
