If we're going to be leaking goals I'd rather we ********ing have players in the team who:

    A) Aren't old
    B) Aren't slow
    C) Won't tire by the 60th minute and try to run the clock down.

I want Jones, Clevs and Welbeck back together again. I want attacking thrust and energy and fearlessness, not that tentative garbage.

That was old man football and I hate it.

    3 points.

Evra should focus on his defending rather than histrionics.

He started going crazy with Evra when the Liverpool idiots decided they wanted to bother our captain.

We had the likes of Berbs, Cheech, Cleverley, Pogba etc and you're telling me we couldn't liven things up a bit?

As the clock was ticking I was thinking to myself "The management are just waiting for something to happen and so are the players" and voila, Liverpool score.

    And we still did nothing.

I'm again left feeling empty after we should've blown another hapless team out of the water.

    Pathetic.

Made the ending of that match harder than it should've been, Rafael sillyness causes a foul in our area anc the scouse get a goal from it, Welbeck giving up that free-kick and then the poor pass to Rooney.

I'm thankful for the 3 points though

    Evra Is A Legend!

Thought Carrick gave up the free-kick for the goal?

Great result and so happy for Pat today.

Carrick and Valencia were excellent today.

Last 10 minutes shouldn't have been as nervy, we should have freshened things up and brought on Cleverly and probably Park for Giggs. But a win is a win. Now Liverpool will be playing the victim card as usual and will be shouting for Evra to be banned for "inciting" the crowd after the game while ignoring they have a huge problem with the Suarez antics and the massive deficiencies in their team.

    How insightful.

But hey, as long as Rooney scores you're happy right?

You're a complete joke, what makes you think you should be responding to anything I say?

You don't have an objective bone in your body.

Yes Carrick gave it up but it was Rafael trying to do something silly that lost possession and forced Carrick to tackle from behind

I thought things went remarkably well. No singing at all from the crowd 2nd half. Someone must have told them creativity wouldn't be appreciated today.

The players played professionally -- except Suarez who apparently feels a bit hard done by. With the Liverpool mgmt letting him go on like that. He should be banned a few more games, imo, for refusing to take the hint of his 8 game ban.

    Well... ******** you liverpool, ******** you suarez!:D

I thought we did well for the most part but Fergie should've used the bench.

Even though we did control the game, it was clear that we tired as the second half went on. A stupid goal like that was sadly a possibility.

The introduction of Cleverley or Park would've helped us inject some energy and go for a third and than that would've been game over alright.

Scholes has been magnificent for me since his return. A few stray passes here and there but his influence is still astonishing.

Neville on Evra: "I can't understand players who celebrate like that at the end in these matches". :D
