I hope Man U can do it, but I got a bad vibe about it.

Rafael, better one on one defender against a winger than Smalling.

Cashley and Ramires out for this one. Maybe Lamps and Terry as well? Doubt it, but a possibility.

    I like this.

I doubt Nani is fit to start. If he isn't, I don't know who we'll play there honestly. Park I suppose wouldn't be a bad shout particularly if we have designs on bringing Nani on as a sub or a striker moving Wayne to the left.

If Wayne were up to it, I'd just like to annoy the piss out of Mata by having Rooney mark him. Chelsea have some quality but they don't have the personnel to defeat us if we are organized. Only a moment of magic from Mata or a defensive lapse will put us in trouble. Chelsea may only be off form, but when I've watched them, they've had absolutely no width or penetration.

    Exactly.

Mata is half the player on the wing when compared to playing in a more central or free role.

Not really, most of his career he has played out wide and impressed alot.

We're not talking about most of his career. We're talking about now, with Chelsea and he's been a bit uninspiring out there as of late.

    I'm not too concerned.

They are a pretty static team and AVB have no idea how to use him, he still is there best player if not their best creative player desipite the accolades Sturridge got at the start for putting it in the net.

That could be a blessing in disguise over the longer term. Let's hope.

Jones is also available, right? That's about as healthy as we've been all year.

According to physioroom he'll be available for the Liverpool game. Either way, things are finally starting to look up injury-wise (knock on wood).

Nani tore Chelsea to bits in September. I'd love a repeat.

Thanks for that list Benni... I live near Hartford and sent an email to the station to protest their decision to show Awesome Adventures, Wild About Animals, Animal Atlas, and Pets.TV before the game at noon (what a pathetic programming lineup).
