    I don't see it being a very good idea to have the grand final rematch in the same round as the Melbourne Derby.

    Might consider going to West Sydney's first game if it's against Mariners, though. That's a big enough test in itself.

    Oh, right, he could have signed for the Wanderers but they don't have a spare $4-6m lying around. Might that have something to do with them being run out of the FFA's own contingency fund?

    Even though I got tired of picking out the middle ground from his agenda-driven articles it is sad to see the guy go, it's one less voice covering football and Fairfax imploding isn't good news for media in general.
