Well Aris lost the game, tragically. 2 late goals by Atromitos.

Nery got a red card (2nd yellow) during stoppage time.

None of his yellow cards were correctly given though. The first he got was for arguing with someone, even though it was the other guy that pushed him. The second card he got for the same player tripping over his legs.

Unfortunately he is getting targeted like this every game, by the refs and the opponents. Maybe it's his own fault though, he made this reputation for himself. He needs to understand that he isn't playing for olympiakos no more, there he got away with everything, in Aris he will get punished for everything, even stuff that he doesn't do. So he needs to stay out of trouble, unfortunately he likes to be in the center when things happen.

It's sad to see how he gets treated though, everyone targets him. The ref didn't even see how the guy fell today, but since he acted a little bit more and it was Castillo that was involved he didn't doubt one moment to give him his 2nd yellow.

Other than that he did a quite good game. Extremely tragic that we lost the game, this season the team is such a disappointment. The temporary coach I believe should be blamed though, he coached the team horribly during the game.

Manuel Machado was at the stadium, the Portuguese ex-Braga coach will most likely be the next coach of Aris. Also Koke was there, he is close to sign for Aris and make his comeback. Him and Castillo had a good connection on the field last season.

No worries, just trying to keep you guys updated! :)

Most people are not unhappy with Castillo today, even though he got a red card.

If some other players showed the same winner mentality as him we would've won this game easily. Nery was furious for the red card and this time I understand him.

Unfortunately that's how it is when you are not a part of the "system" in the most corrupt league in Europe.

This year is basically lost already. I just hope that the new coach can put the pieces together and make this team play good football again and bring back the winner spirit it had just less than a year ago.

Nery is showing great improvement the last couple of games, and as the team will start playing better with some kind of tactic he will play much better too.

Super-3 the biggest fan club of ARIS and Greece in general. Supports Nery for the attitude, standing up for himself and the team.

ARIS is the god of war after all ;) Sad thing that not many players can live up to the expectations though...

Es un desatrabancado ese wey. I like a strong attitude in our players but there was no need for all that drama. Dude needs to chill, he's not the prospect he once was and he should remember what happened the last time he acted recklessly. He needs to focus on his futbol more than he does on anything else. His attitude isn't gonna help Aris, him playing good footy will. Attitude is good, but not to the point where you leave your team a man down.

The praise for his attitude was not for getting sent off. He was getting kicked at during the whole game, opponents trying to pick fights with him all the time. They should have seen at least 2 red cards. Nery's first yellow he got for nothing, a guy pushed him when he wasn't even looking and he didn't react, still he saw a yellow. Then the 2nd yellow was very cheap too IMO.

He reacted and asked the ref why he was sent off.

Maybe you'll think I'm saying this just because I'm supporting Aris, but the ref and Atromitos were targeting Nery during the whole game, it was ridiculous. Everyone know that Atromitos is the new team that olympiakos has taken under their wing. They had a plan and they succeeded with it in the end. Nery reacted like someone that wants to win, someone that cares normally reacts in a situation like that. Unfortunately we have a bunch of woosies in our team this year so we appreciate that kind of spirit.

As you might remember this is the 2nd time this year he gets a cheap red card, and about the 4th or 5th Aris gets in total.

Like I said before, maybe it's his own fault too, he made himself this reputation and everyone knows that he can snap. Many opponents sees him as the easy target.

Of course it's a risk to have a kind of player like that on the team, that can just kick someone because he gets angry. I've criticized him for getting unnecessary cards at times. Today he didn't though and instead of them getting 2 red cards we got one. The teams will play each other this weekend again for the league, Aris without Nery and Atromitos WITH the 2 guys that should have seen red cards.

This treatment of Nery is very unfair and I really hope that ARIS make a official complaint about this. Not that anything will change, but still.

    Sorry for a long post.

This is why UEFA and FIFA need oversight on crap like this. Otherwise, what recourse does a player or club have if the shit is rigged?

In my opinion that wasn't a yellow in the video either. Very soft yellow. I've always been one to excuse what Nery does just because he's got balls. But he needs to grow up, he needs to realize what you just posted, that teams and players know he reacts the way he does and they're gonna pick on him and try to get him sent off. That's the unfortunate world of football we have now and might-as-well deal with it and try to do something good with this team.

Good on him scoring the last 2 games, and this goal today was a very well taken one. I hope he comes back and continues to do the same.
