Yeah I agree, I mentioned a while back that he's a perfect fit for Liga. He's a player that can thrive under Bauza's system, and I wouldn't mind him going there if it means we can have a good player for the NT. With the arrival of Luciano Figueroa it is gonna be even more difficult to get minutes. Since Emelec is going to play the Serie A and Libertadores, there will be minutes to go around, but once they're eliminated, there will be a log jam for minutes.

Emelec, Barcelona, and Deportivo Quito have crowded the striker position. Especially the first two i named. It's insane. Some of these teams have 8 strikers. Never seen that in our futbol. It's a bit of a waste. I find it hard for any team to be top 5 in the campeonato that's not Emelec, Barcelona, Liga, D.Quito, or El Nacional. Ain't happenin this year.

I would be happy as f*ck if Enner Valencia or Marcos Caicedo could come to Liga. They would definitely fit in. But it will be really difficult for them to get playing time in any other top club team in Ecuador unless it's El nacional or Liga.

Marcos Caicedo is no longer an Emelec player, and has joined El Nacional. Wow! I gotta admit im surprised. He'll definitely get playing time there. Good for him.

El Nacional of this year can be competitive. Maybe not in the first half of the year, but in the Segunda Etapa when all these players like John Narvaez, Dennis Quinonez, Juan Govea, and now Marcos Caicedo are all 100% adapted. I'm glad El Nacional is rescuing some of these guys before they lost themselves in their ex teams. This is another game I'm sure i'll be anticipating when they play us.
