Re: England U-21 Discussions Thread #6 [R's] club reporting that Josh has "soft tissue" damage to his ankle thankfully no break and nor any early indication of significant ligament damage
Re: England U-21 Discussions Thread #6 [R's] I always end up fearing the worst with our players because it's usually bad news. Hopefully he's fine for a January loan and gets it.
Re: England U-21 Discussions Thread #6 [R's] Barkley to sign max deal he can at 18. 3 yrs. Carroll, Livermore sign on until 2016.

Re: England U-21 Discussions Thread #6 [R's] Victor Moses having such a good run of form recently. We could have kept him in the set up if Pearce hadn't completely dropped him and kept picking Rose.
Re: England U-21 Discussions Thread #6 [R's] He is really having a very good season, exciting player.
Rumours of Birmingham's money issues meaning they might sell Butland, Redmond and Mutch. Butland to Spurs is a possibility. Seems like a Levy buy in many forms.
has kakuta not been the same since that injury or was there too much hype at the start? just wondering, he really hasnt looked impressive at all in first team games ive seen
McEachran and Chelsea would be making a huge mistake if he doesn't end up at Swansea. He'd be totally ineffective in our side as the ball bypasses our midfield for half the game, there isn't the guarantee that he would start as even Gardner can't get a game, and thirdly Gardner is probably more suited to our style right now if we need midfield cover. Oh and Swansea are a better team than us this season
think he was a little overhyped and then missed some crucial development time with his injury I really hoped this Bolton loan would be good for him, but it does not appear to have been a productive loan. He is now going to Dijon where hopefully he can get some games under his belt and develop some confidence.
Combination of hype and him failing to adapt to senior football. He was a fantastic dribbler in the youth and reserves but that's not enough to get by. Needs to work on his all round game. I think Coyle has issues with his defensive side and end product on the ball hence the lack of game time. He's certainly not yet the player you need for a relegation battle. Has enough talent to work it through IMO and make it at CFC but needs to find the right club to be loaned to and a manager that will give him a run of games.
Kakuta ain't got the basics of footballl........passes and movement off the ball above all.......that is due to his french academy and chelsea not giving him enough lessons on this two fundamentals aspects of elite football........just look at ben arfa and taarabt (who by the way came from the same academy than kakuta...lens) ...this three are fantastics dribblers, got some crazy tekkers but they just can't play on a top league because they don't know the basics of football. ps: in my opinion swansea will be the best team for McEachran too.
Loan moves should be coming up soon. Andros Townsend wanted by QPR apparently. Would be a great move.
Townsend is also wanted by Leeds. Harry Kane and Ryan Mason are definitely both going to Milwall. Have not heard anything about Tom Carroll recently but he has to be a certainty to go out on loan as well.
That is one weird situation. I wonder when his contract at Spurs runs out. He seems to be in limbo. A season on loan in say, Spain might do him a world of good.
Gardner got his first 15 minutes of Premiership football yesterday. When he came on he didn't really have much to do, but we did score 2 goals. What an influence There is a real chance he could start v Swansea on Monday if Petrov doesn't recover from his knock, although I feel our manager might not be brave enough to do so. He should certainly be ahead of Delph in the pecking order though who has completely lost the plot since his injury
