Will there be a day that we can watch a CONMEBOL tournament drawing without barfing? The speech of the Torneos y Competencias guy was hillarious, "All the matches are in different timeslots so you can get to watch 90% of them...", yes we should be thankful for a messed up schedule and still not be able to watch all the matches, thanks a lot...

Ni idea. Ni la propia CSF explicó el motivo.

    http://www.conmebol.com/copasantand...ante-Sorteo-de-la-CSL-2012-20111125-0005.html

Well I know bolivar is there becasue they have i think 9th overall in south america of most appearences in the libertadores.

Maybe its a thing about the most respected clubs from each south american country/ the most appearences in the libertadores that get the 'cabeza de serie' honor?

    No, it's a rotation thing.

    Last year, the seeded teams were Brazil 1 & 2, Argentina 1 & 2, Colombia 1, Ecuador 1, Peru 1, and Venezuela 1.

This year, top 2 from Brazil and Argentina again, Bolivia 1, Chile 1, Paraguay 1, Uruguay 1.

Only the Brazil and Argentina spots are planned to be constant, the other 4 will be rotated.

I know you were just filling in who you think will come out of the classification but I can gurantee you Tigres (MEX) will make it to a group they have a pretty good attack under Tuca.

Yeah, Tigres looks like a very good team. Lets see how they do against the best of South America. That's what's great about this tournament, it's the ultimate test for the top teams on our side of the Atlantic.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Boca Juniors will do. I realize that the Argentine league has been mediocre the last couple of years, but Boca has been dominant lately. Twenty six games in a row unbeaten, and only four goals allowed this season. Can they take it up a notch and do it at the international level?

Tigres is a great team and very offensive but Tuca already stated that he will be playing the youngsters. Very dissapointing but predictable of Tuca and although they have very talented youngsters im not sure they will be able to handle top first team south american competition.

If Tuca makes this a tourney a priority and plays his first team, they can be one of the better teams in this competition. Otherwise, they will not make it to knock out stage imo.

Boca has been smashing the opposition and has finally got back to there old ways. It will be interesting to see them in the tourney.

I heard this as well but think about it for a second it would be suicide to go into this tournament with even your bench players, I think Tuca was just throwing people off but will field his strongest players.

Yes it would be suicide, but he has made it very clear that he will be playing an alternative team. Possibly he will start his first team defense but the rest most likely will be bench players.

Cruz Azul looks good but desperatly need another player like Aquino, kid is doing everything up top. They need to pick up another defender because they have been looking a little shaky. There 9 situation is set with Villa, and Chuletita but they need another playmaker

Chivas has a good group of players but just need to make that last step to a title. They should also pick up a couple of refuerzos but knowing Vergara he will probably wont pick anyone up. Although I have heard of De Nigris possible coming in, he would fit the scheme perfectly.
