Those are light gray stripes on a white background/white stripes on a partial grey background. I meant that Adidas doesn't do different color stripes on different sides.
I seriously doubt it. Last year I was trying to help a local club team get jerseys. They were considering Adidas or a local (cheaper) option. They went with the local retailer partially because Adidas refused to let them do navy stripes on navy background. I even called them at one point to inquire. The women said word for word, "the stripes have to be a different color than the background." When I mentioned I had seen jersey's with white on white, she said that Adidas doesn't make kits like that anymore for "branding" reasons. Maybe for professional teams they'd bend the rules
I'm betting that this is the template the Revs have... Navy body, red sleeves, white sleeve insert/accents... if that's the case I think we might have some pretty solid looking jerseys this year...
Upon further review and outside suggestion i rescind my statement about it being the DC template. Going with this upon further inspection
The latest swatch: Best guess: This is where the player's name will go. Or the team now has a second sponsor selling colored duct tape.
WOO HOOO!!!!! A new kit! Can you feel the anticipation????? I couldn't be more excited to see what the new kit is gonna look like! Forget the fact that the team is wallowing in miserable obscurity. WE GOT NEW KITS!!!!!!!! I love when I get distracted by something shiny!
It is the Flag of New England, as I had indicated in a previous post. It will likely be located on the back of the jersey underneath the collar and above the name.
That's pretty cool, it's about time they embraced the flag/tree. Do you have any other interesting tidbits about the jerseys?
I keep trying to get a general idea as to what the kits will look like but every time a new swatch is released it throws me off. Iv seen a lot of ugly releases posted in the MLS boards and I hope we don't join the ranks. PS - "If you are that miserable, I recommend oncoming traffic." ^ I second that
Do not hate on the Duck. I make my living selling Duck Brand duct tape (26 colors and 17+ printed Duck tapes). Although they are a forward thinking company (Shurtech) and do support sports.... http://duckbrand.com/Duck Tape Club/College-Duck-Tape/How-Tos/Megaphone/ I do not see them as a second sponsor for the Rev's....
