I think for next year's away game, instead of scarves we should have someone manufacture pink plastic cowbells for us. Put a plastic beater on the inside and that should make sufficient noise along with the drums and chanting.
Musical instruments, especially ones as annoying as a cowbell, are not permitted in the River End save for approved drums.
Right, except for the part where I said "at the next away game," unless the Bed Pan won't let us bring them in, either.
How about some Batons or pompoms, idk if im spelling those correctly but thats a good thing. I know you guys are only being half serious but come on.
I beg to differ... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/571036-25-extremely-bizarre-or-ill-advised-promotions-in-sports-history/page/18 Then there's the most awesomest promotion ever conceived: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/571036-25-extremely-bizarre-or-ill-advised-promotions-in-sports-history/page/11
Our rules are largely the same ones at other MLS stadiums. So no, shitty cowbells and thundersticks aren't permitted. Makes for lousy, lame, lazy support. The way many in the River End are at matches, we couldn't even get on the same beat. I'd prefer our lungs make our noise, not relying on artificial sounds.
real quick. when and where do I have to meet people to bring some tifo into the game on sunday. I have something very special that needs to come in
If possible, try to get it to the Teber lot around 1pm, when we'll be heading in to set up. Not sure if they still allow the late entry of items 2 hours before...
Didn't get any video in the stands but here is the snake in the parking lot [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kT_XV0IEC-g"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kT_XV0IEC-g[/ame]
can we stop with the no cups thing this year? They won the supporters shield... and although technically not a cup it's still a major trophy...It was fun at first, but we look like idiots doing stuff like this now, especially since we haven't won anything.
Yes, it feels very icky. It reminds me of the 1940 chants the 15 Devils fans used to rain down on the Rangers before the Devils even sniffed the Stanley Cup. It was nonsensical.
