4 Chelsea boys started in the Eng u16s game last night. Connor Hunte was very impressive, scored the opener & set up Bennettt. Loftus Cheek was good in the middle, he's quite huge than the little irish boys :D Aaron Hayden & Ola Aina were OK.

Wasn't one of them born in 97? Read that on Juni's Twitter. Maybe my dream of playing for Chelsea isn't feasible anymore. Same for the NBA. :(

Looks like Swansea are in for McEachran come January. Think he could be a good fit there.

Did Rodgers ever get a chance to work with Josh through the academy?

I am sure he is familiar with him in some capacity as a lot of the coaches will cross train the players and evaluate them to share different opinions and information.

His ties with the club will probably play a bigger factor in any potential loan deal than a relationship with Rogers imo. Quite frankly I was suprised we did not loan them a player from the off.

Now I'm making a lot of assumptions about Swansea's wishes, Chelsea's wishes and the following players' wishes, but PVA and Kakuta should be playing for Swansea instead of riding the pine at Wigan and Bolton respectively. Swansea's left back was playing non-league football just over a year ago. They have a few more options in Kakuta's position but Wayne Routledge isn't exactly Premier League quality (no matter how many teams try it!).

While the club has done a little better with loans recently, it's shocking how many times we've sent promising youngsters out and gotten burned.

Sinclair and Bertrand are two huge examples where the club has done its youngsters wrong with poorly planned loan deals. Even still, Matej Delac is sitting on the bench of the last-placed club in the f'ing Czech league!

that is a very nice looking XI. will be interesting to see how this group rises. Kane, Loftus-Cheek, Piazon, Feruz & Kiwomya all have real quality, Chalobah & Blackman have a chance too.
