Curacao was the better team in the first half, had most of the possession, but we had only about 2 decent chances. In the second have Antigua got more in the game en was getting more chances and converted one of them!

I don't think thats the problem so much as time. Curacao brought in many overseas players and it appears that they just haven't jelled as a team yet (though I've only seen their match against Antigua, in Antigua, to judge).
I would say Panama (Group C), Canada (Group D), and Guatemala (Group E), all of whom could clinch their groups on Matchday 4, will all clinch their groups no later than Matchday 5. The other three groups could come down to the last matchday: Group A: El Salvador (9 points) and Suriname (7 points) are still alive El Salvador (home to Cayman Islands) and Suriname (home to Dominican Republic) will both probably win on Matchday 4. El Salvador and Suriname play each other on Matchdays 5 and 6 with Suriname hosting first and El Salvador home on the last matchday. Unless El Salvador wins on Matchday 4 and Suriname doesn't, all Suriname will need on Matchday 5 to avoid elimination that day is a draw. Some years ago [road to 2006 and 2010 WC] they brought the guys playing overseas earlier and we played friendlies against Aruba, Suriname, Venezuela etc. That gave them more time to jell. 2006 WC qualifiers: For the 2006 WC qualifiers we went to Antigua, lost 2 - 0, but won in the return leg at Curacao 3 - 0 The next round we lost 2 - 1 in Honduras and 0 - 4 at Curacao in the return leg. 2010 WC qualifiers: We beat Nicaragua 0 - 1 at Nicaragua, 2 - 0 at Curacao. Went to Haiti, drawed 0 - 0, and lost the return leg at Curacao 0 - 1 in the thriller with an own goal sending Haiti to the next round. This years squad sadly hasn't reached that level. I don't expect much from the game at Haiti, but we should be able to do something against US VI...

Nah, don't get your hopes up, Haiti will be very tough at home. By the way I heard Leigertwood is out for Antigua (I assume he just went back to England early after seeing the opponent), not that it should matter against USVI. However they'll want to score as many as possible to cover their bases on goal difference.
Haven't seen any of Haiti since watching a bit of their first match but like Antigua they've brought in guys from Europe and strengthened their already good team. I remember the last time those two played in 2008 and it was very tight but that was without Haiti's overseas players. I'm looking forward to Haiti against Antigua as I'd expect a couple of very good matches. I think it could come down to whether or not Antigua can stop Haiti's attack.
Yeah you're right it doesn't always matter but these are good overseas players playing at a high level that they've just recently brought in...Goreux plays for Standard Liege (Europa League team), Maurice of Paris Saint-Germain (though he's out on loan), Jaggy who plays in the Swiss top tier, and a bunch of others from somewhat weaker European teams (and they have a few playing professionally in MLS). I think when looking at European players (at least for bigger Caribbean sides like Haiti or Antigua) they should be playing at Conference North/South level or higher if in England and Championnat National level if in France or at least have had played at that level or higher in the past. Once you get below that its a crap shoot -- there are some good players that could help these sides but it could be a waste of a plane ticket as well. You also can't just throw 6-7 new guys in to the side like Curacao did and expect it to go well without some sort of extended training camp or a couple of friendlies, neither of which is easy with this schedule. Haiti brought in a few new guys to compliment a side that has been playing together for awhile. All of Antigua's overseas guys have played in either World Cup Qualifiers or Caribbean Cups prior to this campaign and most of the local-based play together anyway for Barracuda. Even without these players they were a relatively strong side in the Caribbean so I think it will be very interesting in November. Also in the Curacao game, three of Antigua's goals came from overseas-based players in Joseph (England) and Byers (US...LA Blues I believe)
Haiti's team is composed almost entirely of overseas players that play in top 2 divisions in europe or in the MLS and we are not talking bench players. Not only that, they will be reenforced for the 2nd round as they have injured players...quality players like Jeff Louis from Le Mans in ligue 2, Placide from Le Havre also in Ligue 2 and a couple others. On paper, they are as good as anyone in Concacaf.With decent preparation, they can beat anyone in Concacaf except for Mexico. Watch out for Haiti, things are different this time around..

1. Curacao suck 2. Curacao couldn't beat Haiti at home, so what makes you think they will win away. 3. Haiti are motivated, much more so than Curacao. 4. History doesn't win games. Haiti 4-0... probably gets ugly.
