Looks like there as an American Youth at AC Milan. 8 year old Kevin Bright is listed as a dual Italian/American there. Bright was born in 2003! I know 2003!! http://milan.sportube.pl/klub/profil...right,203.html
He's on their official website as part of their Pulcini 2003 age group (the youngest level). A midfielder: http://www.acmilan.com/it/teams/youth_teams_roster/548/players
Ha, ha. Well, let's check back in 2018 and see if he's in consideration for the U-17 team. Until then . . . one for the archives.
...and thats the idea. Bring these names up and put them out there. I have to believe if we can find these kids, so can the federation. (I have had my doubts tho)..
He's still with AC Milan's academy, now with the "Giovanissimi Regionali B" team. http://www.acmilan.com/en/teams/youth_teams_roster/544/players @bungadiri, @Friedel'sAccent, can you please move this thread to YA academy? Thanks!
What was source of the confirmation of his citizenship/eligibility? While I'm not doubting it per se, the Milan site says he is Italian-born, so I guess he'd need at least one American parent. http://www.acmilan.com/it/teams/youth_teams_roster/544/players
He's still listed at AC Milan with their "Giovanissimi Regionali," which is all made up of '03s (his birth year). https://www.acmilan.com/it/squadre/giovanissimi-regionali
Now moved up to the U-14's, same age group (03's), but its another age group closer to the first team. Can we move this to the Academy forum? @bungadiri Thank you!
He's with Milan U15s, wearing the #8, and scored 3 goals in their playoff matches vs. Cesena and Torino. Milan are currently up 3-1 on Juventus after the first leg of the quarterfinals. @ussoccer97531 just posted this in the 2019 U17 World Cup cycle YNT thread: Kevin Bright an '03 CM at AC Milan seems to be doing pretty well. Maybe he could be in contention for a call up to this team eventually.
