    I'm really looking forward to returning to Europe's most prestigious club competition. I think Shakhtar are slightly better than Zenit and way better than APOEL, so this could be our toughest home match. Unfortunately both Rolando and Guarin will be suspended for this one due to their red cards in the Super Cup vs Barcelona, so the defense will really be tested against a good Shakhtar attack.

    Wow, I didn't know Super Cup suspensions count for CL? That is REALLY gonna hurt us; especially Rolando. I don't like the idea of Maicon--Otamendi back there one bit. Our midfield should be relatively ok without Guarin (Belluschi will fill in I'm sure).

    Guarin was an idiot for that vicious tackle vs. Barca that late; was it worth it?

    At home, we need to find a way to grab 3 points.

    We can live without Guarin but missing the boss in the back is going to cost us. I still think we will pull through. We have the quality.

    Our defense worries me, no Rolando, Sapu and Alvaro doubtful... We need to control the midfield completely to avoid any surprises.

    So as you guys are saying, the defense will be a big worry. Hopefully Alvaro will be fit to go, otherwise we'd be shot 1 fullback.

    Lista completa:

    Guarda-redes: Helton e Bracali;

    Defesas: Fucile, Otamendi, Maicon, Mangala e Álvaro Pereira;

    Médios: Souza, Fernando, Defour, Belluschi e João Moutinho;

    Avançados: Kléber, Hulk, Rodriguez, Varela, James e Djalma

    Souza or Fernando might have to play Defence if AP can't play.

    Yep, do you know if Souza has ever played RB? Fernando would probably be the more reliable option as an emergency RB for me.

    Otherwise I'm guessing Belluschi and James will both keep their places, with Moutinho returning to the starting XI.

    Alvaro will be good to go. I'm confident about that.

    LOL, I guess since Sporting is never in the CL, you don't really follow it much. Try a different english team.

    It took something special for MU to knock us out... Not a bad campaign.

    Yes sir, you are correct, and thank God for that! :D Defour gets the nod over Belluschi, that's the surprise for me.

    Helton
    Fucile-Maicon-Otamendi-Alvaro
    Fernando
    Defour-Moutinho
    Hulk-Kleber-James

    Bench: Bracali, Mangala, Belluschi, Souza, Cristian Rodriguez, Varela.

    Very surprised to see Defour in the lineup over Belluschi. If we need offense late, Belluschi & Varela are fantastic options to have.

    PORTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

    Very excited :D

    Let's hope Fucile/AP stay healthy and Maicon wakes up.
