Bought my ticket through AO yesterday. I'll be flying in from SF first thing in the morning and then will want to sightsee during the day. If others want to join, let me know. I've never been to Brussels before...

Also, not sure where I'm staying yet... so I'll keep checking this thread to see where everyone ends up booking.

    Psyched to see everyone there!

I will be in London that whole week and plan to take the eurostar over to the game, but i leave the USA for Hamburg next wed. and i dont think the tix will get here in time.

Does anyone think i have a chance to just walk up on the day of the game and get a ticket?

I might have an extra ticket if you need it.

That's cool, no problem. I bought a ticket from the footbel site, and I am worried it won't be here before I leave, so I bought one from AO as well. I figured I could find someone to take my extra ticket if necessary.

i had thought about getting a ticket from them(AO), but it was so over priced. it should be not more then $25 max and their posted price was 57 for non members. and plus i didnt find out untill today about the game.

I just got an email from AO stating that the tickets should be going out this Saturday. They also mentioned that the Belgian fed needed our names, addresses and passport #'s. Passport #'s?

I ordered my ticket from the Belgian FA and selected not to pay for Certified International Shipping (I'm in Germany right now and wasn't sure if within the EU counted as international) I got an email a few days later saying that i could just pick it up on match day at the FA's offices (next to the stadium) before eight pm. So, if you are worried about it arriving on time, just give an international address, but select domestic shipping.

Yeah I got the same email, so I will definitely have an extra ticket to sell.

Oké, not the movie, but the Smurfs are Belgian.

Belgium has some nice villages to visit! If someone is interested, I will give you some information.

I think if you check the whole thread, there are a few people who said where they are staying. I am staying at the Theater Hotel in central Brussels.

    http://www.theaterhotelbrussels.com/

Not sure what kind of availability they have, but it looked pretty nice. I tend to check on sites like TripAdvisor.com to figure out where to stay.

    Booked it. Thanks.

Trying to find out which is the nearest subway/Tram line and stop coming from the airport.

Anyone know? I've e-mailed the hotel but they have not responded.

Yeah I printed directions from Google, take the 12 Bus from the Airport to Schuman, then take the 5 Subway towards Erasme to Sainte-Catherine.
