Considering there's a freaking hurricane outside, I just felt curious to know: How's the weather wherever you guys are?

It's ok over here. Just plenty of rain and some strong winds from the other day. But man, Irene was supposed to have left on Monday afternoon and we got the real insane stuff on Tuesday during the day.

My girlfriend is over in Orocovis, and she was telling me it's been raining for like 4 straight days, and after Irene leaves, you guys have another little storm coming up from Venezuela to add more rain. But thankfully Irene didn't do much serious damage.

Orocovis is actually one of the places that got the most damage. Just saw on the news that no part of Orocovis has energy right now.

Had 2 earthquakes in the last 12 hours or so, but nothing bad. We're not like the folks on the East Coast. :D

So is it fair to say that Orocovis is the Anelka of Puerto Pico?

Here's something I'm sure everyone has dealt with: Humidity. Makes everything feel heavier.

Oddly enough - the last couple of days in NYC have been probably the best of the year. Absolutely gorgeous weather. Now, given that I'm flying to Washington for a wedding tomorrow night, it had better not get too bad!

    no humidity here

Besides the sweltering heat (that i don't mind being from Israel) summers in NYC are always good.

Yea, she didn't have any power or water until yesterday. So she had to drive down to some family who had generators to do everything. But she said everything is fine now.
But Orocovis is so country anyways, so they should be used to living without power, lol.:D

well i experienced my first earthquake this week. that was exciting, especially since i thought i was shrooming for a few seconds looking at my desk move and then the plants. Finally realized it wasn't just me lol.

Now we have this bitch Irene coming to ruin one of the last weekends of the summer . All i have to look forward to are the matches this weekend!

I'm still pissed they called off the NYRB-LAG game already. Freaking weather. That would have capped off a great weekend of footy
