Who: DCU vs. SKC What: MLS Regular Season Where: LiveStrong Park When: Sunday August 21st at 8:30 PM TV: CSN (tape delay: game will start at 9:30 PM on CSN-- don't check Twitter I guess?) SKC is definitely a much better team than at the beginning of the season. I think our defense matches up with their forwards better than against Chicago. According to DCU twitter, Willis will join the team in KC.
I am hoping for a very distracted, bit-too-happy-with-themselves version of KC. We aren't all that good*, we couldn't even beat Chicago*, why waste a lot of energy, it's warm - should be what they're thinking. Then we can put a good old fashioned whoopin' to them and leave them after the game with their mouths hanging open in disbelief! * things they might believe, I don't in lieu of baby animal or vicious predator:
I will be keeping this close by my side as I watch either way. It comes out every time Cronin plays and with the physical nature of this league a keeper with back problems can be just as scary
Third game this week -- possible lineup? Cronin Kitchen --- McDonald --- Jakovic --- Woolard Pontius/Najar --- Simms --- Quaranta --- Da Luz Wolff --- Brettschneider Either Pontius or Najar sits at the start. DeRo at the half, probably for Wolff Davies for BB if necessary One sub saved for injury -- late tactical move I think DeRo needs a rest. Najar cramped up at the end of the Chicago game.
I know everyone considers Kitchen a good player, but me thinks he should get a look with the Nats. He is one of the best pure defenders I have ever seen here in America.
Finally my first live game this year. Note to self ... don't ever move to Minnesota again, even if it's only a couple of years.
I think he's good, and I think he'll continue to get better. Defensively he's solid, and he seems to have remarkable confidence and leadership. But I think he's being played in a position that really doesn't suit his strengths. I understand why's Olsen has him playing RB, but I'd really like to see DC acquire a pure RB and see what Kitchen can do in DM someday. So will this game be on live if you were dumb enough to purchase MLS Direct Kick? It's showing an 8:30pm kickoff on ch 470 and 470-1 on DirecTV.
I was smart enough to purchase Direct Kick. Not sure what your problem is with it. Glad to know I will be watching live rather than on tape.
This will be no fun avoiding the Internet from 8:30 up until the match ends on CSN. I wish it wasn't delayed.

DC needs to average 1.3+pts to reach the playoffs. DC must find a way to get 3 tonight. Win ugly, win pretty, but just win.
At your next band meeting at the Embassy, have Murray take a few minutes to explain sarcasm to you. I have Direct Kick. Relax.
I have DK on Dish - the game is blacked-out live 'cos CSN is showing it ... maybe you're luckier but I'm stuck with the tape delay.
