I hope not, this is not the time for experimenting ... it's time to get the act together and perform. We already know who are in best of their form so no need for further experimentation by bringing in the youngsters and screw the qualification campaign even before it begins ...

Dude have you checked the ages of some players? by the time 2014 comes they would be over the mid 30..Its not experimenting when the youngster deserves it..you know what i am saying

Listen Doc, this should have had been done soon after the end of failed campaign for WC2010 qualifyer as was done in Asian Cup 2004 where the Saudi Team was mostly having new faces after the desasterous WC2002 in Korea/Japan ... then what happenend after 2004, the Saudi Team reached with the same level of players to the Final of Asian Cup 2007 ...

Now this chance of providing opportunity & grooming the youngsters has been missed after the failed WC2010 campaign so, now we are short of time but not talent as the Older players can still do their best ...

its not even about grooming them or whatever..i'm saying some of the youngsters 19-22 are better than some of the seniors

OK, give examples of all that you feel are better ... give example in this way:

    A is better than Z
    B is better than Y

While it's true some players are getting quite old, I don't see anyone in the youth players that have a final touch like Mohammed Noor.

Sure, I want to give some of the U-20s senior team experience but a mixture of Youth and Experience is IMO what the NT should go for.

Well, the FA released this huge long press statement and I couldn't be bothered to read it. But the issue is still up in the air last time I checked.

I dont know wheather is it issue or not but have to clarify it-
Why do Saudi clubs play pre-season friendly against the Saudi clubs only and that to against there A-teams.Is there no law that forbids the clubs playing against the club you are facing in the league.I have never come acrossed matches in other leagues where the league teams are facing each other in there pre-season preparations.
For instance check out the teams of Al Massif Tourney which was played in Taif,Al Riyadh International Tourney etc etc.
I just mean to say we have mini league matches before the actual league matches are played which should be stopped and have a law on it.
Please do share your views on it.

Well, I think it depends on what club it is.

For example, Hilal or Itihad might think, right, let's play for example Raed, and get a morale boosting win behind them, Raed on the other hand might think, let's play Hilal and see just where we are at.

Me personally, I take all friendlies with a pinch of salt, it's about gaining fitness, not about winning. So in this respect, the Ittihads and Hilals of this world should be preparing against lower tier opposition, it gives the guys a run out against teams they will never play in reality, and these teams will want to do well, so they play to gain fitness against clubs who want to proove something, thats what happens in England.

After this, is the clubs who go abroad, play in mini tournaments, and I can't see why this won't work, all West Asia is in close season, so they all benefit.

Other than that, they can all go to Europe for example and go running up hill after hill.

To be honest, I couldn't care less who teams play, but if I was coach, I wouldn't play teams in my same league, you could win the firendly 6:0 and then the league comes along and you think its a piece of cake, and lose.

I dont have any problems if you go to any third world and have your pre-season training there.I support the team training in europe running up and down the hills, valleys and passing out there time.If the team wants morale boosting win and gain fitness then they can play other divisional clubs or clubs from neighbouring countries as in any scenario you have to play 90 minutes and in playground only.

Today-Saudi Olympic VS Qatar Olympic @ King Fahd International Stadium
    Round 1 -Asian Olympic qualifiers.
Both teams met twice in the gulf cup for olympic teams with KSA prevailingin both the matches. The team will be missing Saoud Hamoud. With likes of Nawaf Abed,Abdul Raheem Jizawi and Yahya Sehri the team looks stronger in midfield.Hope the youngsters start well as there is only one option which is the first place for direct entry to the London Olypmics 2012.
