Based on that flowing ribboned banner in that logo silhouette, I'd say it's a safe bet your MLS kits will feature a sash.
I think it is brilliant. Very classy, not cartoonish at all. Well done! My only potential criticism is I hope their primary kit colors aren't going to be black and blue....
I love it. I just thought Joey Saputo's explanation for the 4 stars was ridiculous. Anglophones, Scots, Francophones and Irish. You'd think he'd remember the poor ol' Micks.
I just want to say that I hate the 'Tous pour gagner' part. I understand that the 'tous' is supposed to represent that we're all in it together but it will always look like a gigantic grammatical error to me. I'm not convinced it was a grammatical error in the first place that's simply being covered up.
yeah. that is pretty unimpressive. it is sure no Union or Whitecaps logo. it has the whiff of MS Paint about it. and that font on the sash is terrible .... truly wretched ... and the sash is pretty bad too. but hey, it is the impact so their complete ineptitude on and off the pitch will be entertaining enough that i am sure this mediocre badge will be a long distant memory in the litany of other f'ups and follies they put on offer next season in MLS. and at least it isn't as hideous as the timbers badge which is pre-school playtime ... so at least there's that.
why ... it isn't like the league is overrun with teams who's colours are blue and black ... oh, wait ... yeah never mind they really should have been bold and changed their colours entirely to something nobody in the league already uses but hey .... the league can always use more blue! plus if this last NASL season is any indication ... or the performance of the other Canadian MLS teams there will be plenty of singing the blues for Montreal next season ...
Then you aren't too good a teacher, since Tous is a completely different word. Does it bother you to see the knight/night too/to variations being used correctly elsewhere? And we in Montreal don't really care about the fact theres others that use these colours in the league, we're older than every team besides Vancouver, so, we were there first.
I'm not a good teacher because I recognize that 'tous' which is plural is incorrectly used in that phrase regardless of the explanation given? Wow. Boy am I glad they don't use people like you to evaluate the teaching quality in the province.
Teachers and prescriptive grammarians are all hilarious. It serves nothing, that aspect of teaching. Sorry, it comes as a side effect of my job.
Very observant. I mean, he wasn't just trying to use the phrase (which has been around a looooooooooooong time before TFC) as an example or anything
yes, well it is odd that they basically took the other half of TFC's motto for their own and then added the word "win" in there.
Actually, it's odd they changed our motto to somehting else. But, I guess it's not a good move to cement something left behind by Marc Dos Santos at this point in time, especially considering people amlost always used the english version, Whatever it takes, instead of tout pour gagner.
All the needed to do was keep a Grey trim on that sash to keep it from looking so unfinished. That and the font and it would look decent IMO.
