The title says it all. (No, this thread is not directed at the HSH. Just remarking on "actual" hooligan culture. HSH - please do not defend your name or whatnot. Again, this thread is not an attack on your group.) (Also mods - If I am not allowed to say "hooligan culture is asinine," my apologies.)
What's in a name? That which we call a rose By any other name would smell as sweet. - Juliet (scene II, Capulet's orchard)
Eh, I already thought of that back in May, bud: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=23497572&postcount=238 Thanks.
They're pretending to be Scottish soccer hooligans, but are clearly wearing English scarves. Go figure.
Well, I have seen, on two separate occasions, two Crew fans get into heated verbal spats with each other in the Nordecke this year. The first time, one guy was ticked that everyone around him, and started yelling at everyone, then decided to leave in a huff. He then bumped another guy on his way out, and they got into it. Another time, one Crew fan was yelling something at another Crew fan, at a distance, and yelled right in some other guys ear. He either took offense to being yelled at, or thought what was said was directed at him, and then they got into it. Pretty asinine on both counts.
Allegedly there is one particular person that has rubbed several people (one not in SG, others regulars in the Nordecke) the wrong way. By psycho-analytical accounts, he might have a case of bi-polar or some other mood disorder, but more quantitative studies are needed.
