Expectations from guatemala? Guys, list of saudi sqaud and who to watch this coming world cup.Thanks.
We lost 6 straight games in preparation for this tournament. Panama 2-1 Guatemala Uruguay 6-0 Guatemala Uruguay 2-0 Guatemala Argentina 3-1 Guatemala Argentina 1-0 Guatemala Cameroon 2-0 Guatemala This is our first ever WC in any category obviously we don't expect much because both Nigeria and Croatia are tough. Maybe our best chance could be against Saudi Arabia but who knows.

Players to watch out from the KSA squad- Abdullah Otayf Yahya Dagriri Fahad Johani Yaser Al Fahmi. Looking out for the teams preparations. The team has been on training since long time in various countries and also played various friendlies against team like Brazil,Uruguay and Costa Rica and many more.I am seriously looking out for the youngsters to shine as they will be the one who would replace the oldies in the squad.
I wonder if ze wunderkid Fahad al-Muwallad will get some match time in the tournament. He is only 16.
We have first match against Crotia today but in a very odd timing.I hope Saudi to get atleast one win from the tournament considering that they have not won since 1989
HT KSA 0-0 CRO Boring first half. Playing 4-5-1 and happy to just pass the ball around in the area. I think they should take out one of the midfielders (Otayf or Fahmi) and put in a second striker. Abdalilah al-Nassar or Fahad al-Muwallad. That or just play for the draw
Boring first half. What is the point of passing arround and getting possesion if you are just going to pass in your field again? wow
Yeah Ma'an al-Khodari was great. I always thought he's an unknown soldier for the team, cleaning up and shoring up the back, but today he also played the team forward. Anyway 2-0 is a great result. Rode our luck for the first goal, but nothing fortunate about the second. Fahad al-Muwallad scores as soon as he comes on. Actually the period when we had 2 strikers (between Fahad coming on and Yahya leaving) was the best spell for Saudi.
They were copying the Barcelona style of play but could not succed as much.Any ways, a good start and atleast not we can hope for qualification to the next round if we beat Guetmala, even if we lose against Nigeria.
Saudi to meet Guatemala today in there next match. If win then place to round of 16 is guarenteed. Also we have all prasies for the 'Saudi Veron' on fifa.com http://www.fifa.com/u20worldcup/news/newsid=1485304/index.html
