What can we as supporters and fans do to help sell out this game?

I'm bummed that the last game was moved up, cause otherwise I'd have been there. Still, this chance to cheer for a spot in the final is HUGE!! Is there any chance the Fire add a DP by this match?

    BTW

Who thinks this is the most important game for the FIRE right now?

Buy lots of tickets. Use them or not, it doesn't matter. Just buy them.

The article mentions the semifinal NOT being part of the season ticket package, but I saw this on Section 8's twitter:

"Fire season tix holders can exchange unused tix (past/future) for @USOpenCup semi 8/30 @toyotapark via 708-496-6800 or http://bit.ly/r41agV"

I did buy 5 tickets for the US Open cup game vs. New Jersey from section 8; can I exchange those for the semifinal game?

Never mind I see that I can.

    sorry.

Quickly procreate and raise our own, home grown fan base just in time for the match.

Now before you go throwing a mölkky stick full of facts, logic, physics or reality at my idea . . . think about it. Even if we fail, we win.

    FIRE!

    Pack it out.

We are selling discounted tickets for groups (5+) around the stadium (section 8/corner kick/premier/club) on the S8C ticketleap page. Get some friends together, spread the word tomorrow!

Good luck with that, they could give out FREE tickets and it wouldn't sell out.

Of course, that would be impossible. A sell-out implies tickets are being sold. A full house on the other hand....

I hope you miss out on the Fire winning their first trophy since 2006, even if this is just the semifinal

dear fire fo: make it a free attendance game, but start the pr for it now. the excitement of winning a spot in the finals in front of a large crowd is so great that the energy of the moment will carry over into sales for the final. orders or inquiries about orders for tickets to the final would be overwhelming almost immediately.
excepting some disaster, the FIRE *WILL* be in the final of this year's USOC, so start selling the final tickets now by making the semi free admission. and pimp that out as well. win the USOC this year at home, and season ticket sales for next year will jump. guarantee it.

hosting and winning the USOC can your "designated player," in terms of ticket sales and money spent. for the same amount of money spent, or less, the payoff can be greater, imo.

better question: "what can section8 and the other fans do to put 20,000 people inside the stadium?"
even better question: "what can section8 and the other fans do to insure a WIN by the FIRE?"
best question: "what can section8 and the other fans do to pack the stadium with 20k people and help guarantee a FIRE win?"

do your usual pimping out, buy extras that ya don't need, and sing loudly and passionately for 90 minutes.

I'd wager that free beer wouldn't even do it.

Why does everyone assume we are going to host the final? If Seatle wins, what makes you think they won't host it? They are 2 time champions and could pack over 40,000 for the final. You know they are going to bid just as hard as the Fire and they have more to offer.

Well DC united did outbid them in hosting the US open cup final. Even through their rent is way higher than the Fire's and they make way less on concessions.

So it's possible, if Hauptman wants it bad enough to outbid seattle.

Since I bought Tickets for the NY game, do I just pick up my new tickets by section 8 sometime next month?
