    "Spits Altidore signs Wednesday AZ"
Jozy Altidore will be the next three or four seasons can be seen in Alkmaar. The 21-year-old American put his signature under a multiyear commitment Wednesday when the medical examination is easy.
Altidore landed Tuesday with his mother at the airport. In the evening he will witness the friendly match between AZ and Cork City, RTV Noord-Holland says. The international need for the formation of coach Gertjan Verbeek be the successor of Kolbeinn Sigthórsson top scorer, who has left to ajax.

AZ takes over from Altidore Villarreal. In 2008, the striker signed a five year contract with the Spaniards, but despite the price tag of seven million euros, he never true expectations. Altidore was leased to Xerez, Hull City and finally the Turkish Bursaspor.

Altidore is not known as a real goalgetter. In Europe, the counter only three hits.

No official confirmation I can find yet; however, he is at the match according to the club's twitter feed:

Net in Nederland en aanwezig langs de zijlijn van AZ - AGOVV: Jozy Altidore

Well if he "will sign Wednesday after a physical (easy)" then I would expect official confirmation tomorrow or Thursday.

Apparently watched the AGOVV game in company of his mom.

This is from VI, some very interesting newsbits,

    http://www.vi.nl/Nieuws-item/203809/Stewart-Jozy-Altidore-kiest-heel-bewust-voor-AZ.htm

No transfersum and they will complement/add up to his salary until 2013. The only thing Villareal are said to be wanting is a large sell on percentage clause.

I believe it means if AZ sell him to another team Villareal will get a certain % of that sale.

Well that's smart by Villareal, can't get enough money for him now, hope AZ can turn him around and get more money later.

Yeah, that's basically their only chance to not lose a huge amount on Jozy.

    lol

"I know him only from YouTube videos," AZ coach Gertjan Verbeek will be fair to RTV Noord-Holland. "But someone on his sixteenth league debuts in the U.S., one year later in the national team and with his resume, which must be something. No, it's not a gamble because I did not see him. He's only 21 years and still forming. He's big, strong and fast. These are strikers that I am to appreciate. "
    via googletranslate.

    He likes bigger stronger faster.
Can we get AZ to sign Brek Shea too?

    - Said he could earn a lot more elsewhere, but he had chosen AZ for his personal development.

    - Asked Bradley about Verbeek and he told him that he's very similar to Bradley's dad and this is according to Altidore's experience very positive.
