Yes, your right, I've had a drink. But can you not see the point of signing the contract outside of Saudi? He has the power now. The cards are in his hands, the hands of a none Saudi. The Saudi's have gone to him, not himselft to the Saudi's. Yes, all that matters is results, but when ending in failure, what is said? What is said is the Saudis hired a guy who was bothered.

And when you say Johor is a really good coach, then you must wonder why a really good Saudi coach doesn't get the job full time.

This isn't the first time the Saudi FA have signed a contract outside the Kingdom. I think you're looking too deeply into it.

3 years goes all the way to the World cup but I don't see any major tournaments till then... :(

Yeah even I when looked at this photo tought he might not be interested in coaching Saudi. But after some time heard that he is high tempered coach and very strict that is why he looks so serious.
The FA will take care of him like they are taking care of a costliest glassware.Any insult or blindly sacking him for small reasons will cost FA.He is big name coach and the world is talking about hiring him.If he gets any negative approach from the FA or anyone else he will bring down Saudi football from no where..

Well, I heard the election was supposed to happen in July and we just entered July so it remains to be seen.

According the "Al Nadi" Newspaper, if Wehda fails to convince the CAS of their cause, the FA will fine Wehda 40 million Euros and prevent it from participating for three years in Saudi football.

In essence, they will completely destroy the club.

    Am I worried? No.

Seriously though. Why such a random number like 40 million euros?

Why not just say "The club will be closed" ?

The number is not random. It was reached through a studied scientific formula ;)

Mohammed Shalhoub, Nayef Hazazi and Mukhtar Fallatah have withdrawn from the NT's training camp after sustaining some injuries.

Al Nasr's Zila3y has been called up to replace Shalhoub, I don't know who they're gonna call up to replace Hazazi and Fallatah.

    They're both on goal.com

Dejaprov is confirmed for Shabab it's not a rumour.

    ALSO:

By Royal Decree, Saudi Sport will have exclusive access to all Saudi local tournaments. Hopefully, they up their production values.

Saudi Sport channel will own the rights for 3 years. Whether it's right or wrong, it's late decision. As mentioned in the article, SSC will have only 2 months to prepare for SPL coverage. Currently there are only 2 channels and it's impossible to broadcast all 182 matches of the league, so probably they will sell some matches to Line Sport.

I won't mind AbuDhabi getting in the business too, the more options we have the better quality the networks will offer.

yes , and alarabiya has calculated the value of the league and they said the league's value is 20 million riyals or something .

anyway they will sell it and the wooden channel will get extra millions for free , the FA and the clubs will get nothing .
