That is true on so many levels for so many things. The Dutch rule on prostitution is awesome (or was). The Dutch rule on marijuana is awesome (or was). The Dutch rule on public drinking is awesome. The Dutch rule on health care is awesome. The Dutch rule on civil rights is awesome. The Dutch rule on economic issues is awesome. The Dutch rule on language is awesome. The Dutch rule on secularism is awesome. Basically, the Dutch (and their rules) are awesome. Last time I was in the Netherlands, they were proposing a number of changes to the awesomeness of their laws, some of which are being implemented.
I don't see him going anywhere until the end of the season, and not unless there is a hefty price paid. Good and bad, he is one of the key elements to the success of this team.
Some of those ties might have been wins were it not for the defense, that is true. But some of those ties could also have been losses were it not for our offense. We haven't seen him play under Coach Frank yet, but he can only be better.
They did it with Chicharito when he played in Las Chivas de Guadalajara, when they did the scout Chicharito was not the top scorer of the league and was not in the Starting lineup of Mexico´s roster.

Newcastle offer chance to Chicago Fire star Marco Pappa Source tribalfootball.com. 4 days 7 hrs 56 mins ago. Newcastle United are interested in Chicago Fire midfielder Marco Pappa. The Daily Mail says Newcastle are looking to take Chicago Fire and Guatemala midfielder Pappa on trial next season.Pappa, 23, has been with the Fire since 2008.He joined from Guatemalan side CSD Municipal and his current MLS contract expires at the end of next season Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/
Good for Pappa. This team doesn't deserve him. All Fire fans do is bicker about how he does this and that wrong. Oh well now they can do without him. Cue the music "I love it when you call me Big Pappa, throw yo hands in the air if u a true Player."
Looking to bring on trial next season? If they are really interested they would be reaching for their checkbooks. This Pappa situation is really starting to smell of an agent trying to drum up a move so he can collect a check.
What do you expect??? Ofcourse he needs a trial because unfortunately Pappa plays for a crappy last place team and a crappy national team? He is the star on both though. The agent is not reporting this the UK dailymail is. In the end Pappa will end up in England either with New Castle or Nottingham.
Isn't his agent former Chicago Fire star Diego Gutierrez? Who IMHO has not done a good job as his agent. http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/fire/post/_/id/28/chicago-fire-bring-marco-pappa-back
Come again? Where do you think the dailymail gets their info? You really think the Newcastle manager calls up the reporter and tells him they want Pappa on trial? Gimme a break. If they want him lets see the cash. In any event, one trend that is very consistent in MLS is that when a top MLS player is linked with foreign clubs over a longish period of time (months) and no move is made the player's form falls off dramatically to the point of where the player can no longer even start for his MLS team anymore because he sucks so bad. It is happening to Freddy Montero now. This has happened so many times over the last 10 years I can't even count that high.
HA! That is one word for it. This does not happen to every player but it seems to happen to most. If the trend holds, I would not count on Pappa coming up big too often for the Fire down the homestretch. Another thing is that the player's nationality does not seem to matter either. It happened, to give a random example, to Wilman Conde. Brad Guzan and Sascha Kljestian were not effective players either in the time leading up to their transfers. Neither was Soumare effective either. It literally goes on and on but those are the examples off the top of my head. I am sure if I did the research I could come up with a dozen or more.
If Pappa leaves for Colo Colo as some have heard, this player may be an interesting replacement: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebastian_Grazzini
Judging from ur comments on other threads, you just don't like him because of his nationality. Poor prejudiced bastard.
I have noticed a disturbing strain of anti-Guatemalan sentiment in American society as of late. I think it has to do with scapegoating over the impending extinction of the banana.
