Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Hasebe "As a footballer, I'm always looking for a place where I can grow. I've always wanted to play in the English Premier League. I have no idea as to what will happen to my future. I just want to improve as a football player" EPL would be fantastic.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany No f**k the EPL, bad idea as far as the JNT is concerned unless the club is playing the UCL.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Bundesliga is wayyyyy better for a player like Hasebe. I don't think many players really improve at all in the EPL, they just kinda decay IMHO
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Uchida on the bench for the Cup final I hope this is because their playing a Bundesliga 2 side. If they win then they qualify for the Europa League.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Rangnick said Uchida has been looking out of gas for a while because of all the games he played this season. That's why he is not starting. Harsh to miss the cup final.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany My main beef with the EPL is the work permit stuff. Not only the England NT but it was clear that many EPL players at the last world cup struggled to make a notable impact. I believe this is because of the permit laws in the UK. There are relatively few players from outside UEFA in the EPL. Fairly few from South America, Asia, Africa etc. There are SOME; but they are players who hold an EU passport or players who have played lots and lots of games for their national team. Compared to the Bundesliga, in the EPL there is not a lot of diversity. Which restricts the styles and cultures of play in the league; so when these players play at international level, they are in more unfamiliar territory because of this. At the last world cup a lot of EPL players struggled. Whereas Germany has many players from all over the world in the Bundesliga; also use the Adidas ball in world cup years which is also helpful. As far as the JNT is concerned, I think Germany is a better place for our players than England. Not to mention; EPL is too physical out of the top leagues in the world. The reason why my exception was UCL EPL teams, was because obviously playing in the Champions league those teams are exposed to a wider range of playing styles and cultures to test themselves against.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Okey. Yeah the worm permit issue is irritating. But having a japanese player in the EPL that plays regurlary would be damn nice.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany EPL is not that rough. Most of your MF players would fit in since they are good at keeping possession so they shouldn't have a problem. The mid table/ lower clubs need these type of players because they have trouble with possession. FW and CB's require some toughness though. It wouldn't be bad for your players to bulk up as well.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Usami to Bayern, fck yea! Weird, this pops-up on the same day Bayern announce signings of Rafinha and Neuer for their squad
