Time caught up with Garnett tonight. Also, Wings surprised me last night as well. Down a couple, and then all of a sudden it's a 4-3 win.
You would think Doc would use the rotation more, to ensure he isn't playing these old guys 40+ minutes a night but no. The Celtics bench is actually a strength, especially when compared to Miami.
If Detroit somehow pulls of this come back (doubt it), the Canucks will go to the finals. If not, San Jose vs Bostan like I predicted.
I had no hope, honestly, but I have always been a pessimist when it comes to my teams. That said the signs were there for us, Krejci broke his wrist and missed all 4 games, and the Flyers were just a deeper/better team, plus we had a rookie in goal. I'd put my money on you guys, as a neutral. When is the game btw, this series has been fun, dont want to miss it.
Also, I cant see the wings getting away with a goal like the 1st one, when Kronwall was on the ice about 5 secs before it was actual legal. What happened on their 2nd? I saw McClellan complaining about something, but I was on the phone.
In an NHL playoff series if you dont come out thinking this way about at least 5 guys on the other team, it wasnt a great series.
That wasn't the point. I don't mind the rest of the Sharks but Joe Thornton's been a jackass this entire series with some of his antics. It's been a great series because the Wings managed to mount a comeback and take it to game 7 despite looking like garbage.
What did he do? You guys have Bertuzzi, a man who should not be playing any hockey at all, ever, so any complaints regarding bad antics need to be first addressed within.
Dove, took a couple of cheap shots (Slashed Zetterberg). It'd be one thing if Bertuzzi had a consistent history of being a violent player, but he's not. Yes, it was a bad incident but he expressed regret pretty quickly after that. * *I'm not justifying his actions, however, my general complaint has been that Thornton has been consistently doing this all series. As for Bertuzzi, yeah, it was scummy, and maybe he shouldn't be in the sport at all, but he hasn't displayed a violent incident since then.
Thornton was slashed by Franzen earlier as well. In any case, while I'm sure he's not a saint, it's not like he's like Ott or Avery. So not sure why he is singled out. In any case, on to game 7.
of half of the Flyers team. Unfortunately diving is a part of a lot of NHL players games these days, watching Montreal is like watching Barcelona
One of the worst incidents ever, and to be fair, he wasn't exactly a clean player, he averaged well over 100 points a season in Vancouver. He's toned it down since, because he had to
Recent history is on your side, Canucks vs Blackhawks game 7. Which is why Claude Lemieux was uber awesome growing up.
