I was wondering how many caps our most loyal fan has?

I am sure there are some old timers that have been going to game since before I knew we had a team, and I am really curious as to some of the grizzled vetrans cap history.

For myself, I honestly can not recall the total but the thing for me is that I have zero international caps, so I am a sad panda. I will be in Brazil, so that is a start, but I'd like to pull off Trinidad or Costa rica for some scuba/soccer.

I think I have 8 Domestic caps. mostly in the last 4 years. 1 game when I was a wee lad. I am 36.

how many domestic, international and WC matches are under your belt?

Omar has over thirty now. I bet that's the most for a younger supporter. His first game was at the 94 WC. Those are impressive numbers for someone that is originally from Guatemala.

Yea, I'm sure Omar is up there. The Spain and Canada matches will be caps #12 and #13 for me (with a likely DC match #14). My first match was the Argentina match in June 2008.

My wife and I are just under 40 caps. We are both 38. But I think this is my most impressive stat: I've seen the national team play in eight countries and on three continents.

I have very few (about 10 - 3 at WC98 in France, and the rest are domestic) chaz a.k.a. Ms Charlie

Big Dog had over 60 at one point, but I don't know how many games he's been to recently.

I have 35 for the full national team. 5 for the U20s. 2 for the U23s. Most of my caps are world cup qualifiers for the 2006 and 2010 tournaments. Only one World Cup match--the unfortunate 3-0 pasting by the Czech Republic in Gelsenkirchen.

Sigh. I, too, am a sad panda. I have a total of 5 caps. I'm 22, so I have time, but my caps are:

    Argentina - East Rutherford - 2008
    Mexico - Columbus - 2009
    Honduras - Chicago - 2009
    Czech Republic - East Hartford - 2010
    Turkey - Philadelphia - 2010
    ***Spain - Foxborough - 2011

I have 55 caps, which doesn't include WNT or the U-20 World Cup in Montreal. First game is June of '93, US beating England! :D

I know quite a few that will be around the same number, and at least one who generally doesn't post on the USMNT threads (kinda like me) who has probably 70+.

Seeing that I am a broke college student, I have 0 caps. :(

I was going to go to the US-Panama game in Tampa since it's the closest southeast game I could get to, but I will be in school. Soooooo, it's gonna be a little wait for me before I can even get my first cap. :)

For the Senior team, my number's at about 35-40 caps. First cap was USA-Argentina in 99

5 US games in 2002 WC, 3 US games in 2006 WC.

2 Gold Cup Final, bunch of Gold Cup games. Azteca twice. Columbus for USA-Mexico 3 times. RFK for US games a bunch, Hartford, Old Foxboro and Gillette (lost track). 1 game at Bridgeview, The Link twice, Soldier Field once, Old Giants Stadium for several, and New Meadowlands once.

For the U-23s, saw the Qualifying tournament in Nashville, 2 games.

For the U-20s, saw US-Chile in Giants Stadium, and all except the Uruguay game from the U20 tournament.

I'm a bit foggy as to how many total caps I have; I'll have to consult Brock for most up-to-date number. First USMNT cap was U.S. vs. Mexico in 1997 at Foxboro, my last one being the U.S. vs. Turkey in Philadelphia in 2010. International caps include matches in Dublin, Lyon, St. Etienne, Gelsenkirchen, Kaiserslatuern, and Nurnberg.

As of the end of last year's World Cup, you were at 26 as per Brock's sheet. Not sure if you'd added anymore since then.

I was actually talking to my Dad about this recently and I have a few more caps than I once thought. I don't remember a few of them but that's because I was 8 or 9 years old.

    US CUP
    09/06/1993, Boston, Foxboro Stadium, 37,652
USA 2-0 ENGLAND* (don't remember a second of being there but my dad says I was. I was 8)

    US CUP
    09/06/1996, Boston, Foxboro Stadium, 25,332
USA 2-1 IRELAND (barely remember this one)

    FRIENDLY INTERNATIONAL
    19/05/2002, Boston, Foxboro Stadium, 36,778
USA 0-2 NETHERLANDS (went with my high school soccer team)

    Jun 02 04 - W 4-0 Honduras 11,553 Foxboro, MA, USA

    Jul 12 05 - D 0-0 Costa Rica 15,211 Foxboro, MA, USA (Gold Cup ’05)

    Jul 16 05 - W 3-1 Jamaica 22,108 Foxboro, MA, USA (Gold Cup ’05)

    Jun 12 07 - W 4-0 El Salvador 26,512 Foxboro, MA (GC’07)

    Jun 16 07 - W 2-1 Panama 22,412 Foxboro, MA (GC’07)

    Jun 06 09 - W 2-1 Honduras 55,647 Chicago, IL, USA (WCQ’10)

    Jul 11 09 - D 2-2 Haiti 24,137 Foxboro, MA, USA (GC’10)

    Jul 18 09 - W 2-1 Panama 31,087 Philadelphia, PA, USA (GC’10)

    Jul 26 09 - L 0-5 Mexico 79,156 East Rutherford, NJ, USA (GC’10)

    May 25 10 - L 4-2 Czech Republic 36,218 East Hartford, CT, USA

    May 29 10 - W 2-1 Turkey 55,407 Philadelphia, PA, USA

    Mar 26 11 - T 1-1 Argentina 78,936 New Meadowlands Stadium E. Rutherford, N.J.

I'm 25 (until tomorrow!) and I've been to 15 matches.

After this summer ( Spain in Foxboro, Canada in Detroit, QF in DC, and Final in California) I could be at 18.

I looked at the US schedule over the last 20 years and counted 23 games, almost all between 1996 and 2003 (one game, USA-Japan in 2006) -- having a family has really cut down on my traveling for WCQs. :(

Games seen in: (Bay Area) San Jose, Oakland, San Francisco; (other California) Los Angeles, San Diego; (other USA) Portland, Columbus, Kansas City, DC, Foxboro, Seattle; (outside USA) WC2002 group games in Korea.

Would you say marriage has been what has prevented further USMNT related travel, or was it having kids?

One unique thing about my caps is that I have not seen us play the same team twice...it has been 11 unique teams so far: Argentina, Cuba, Mexico, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, Turkey, Brazil, Poland, Colombia, Chile. With caps #12 and #13 (Spain, Canada), that trend will continue. #14 could be the first time I see a team for the second time, depending on who we end up playing in a likely DC match.

Sounds about right to me. I could have had at least three more had I actually been able to make the trip to SA...
