I want to write some thing about the Supports club for my blog. So I would like to ask all of you that don’t sit in the south ward what you think of the clubs do you like what they chant. if you bring kids i would love to no your in put even if you dont bring kids to the game plase give your in put. thank you.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA My two daughters were raised in section 101! If you don't like the language sit at the other end of the stadium. Now how you going to stop them from hearing it when they are in school?
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA The only problem I have is the "you suck a** hole" thing. It's a bit classless and...trashy.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA i like YSA. others like to chant it, and not just in the supporters sections. looks like it's staying. no matter what.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA I love and respect everything except YSA. It's not original, not funny and don't see what it adds.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA You realize that almost none of the more commonly done chants are original to ESC right? If you catch other MLS games with a good crowd mic you'll hear all the same songs.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA that the opposing goalie can go f*** himself and everyone that is related to him. simple.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA Just saying that it's a terrible representation of the club and the players.. there has to be a better way than saying YSA. It's stupid, immature, and farrrrr to simple and caveman-ish.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA maybe there is, but there's plenty of people outside the supporters sections that sing it now. and as simplistic as it is, i am not bothered by it. and apparently there are those who have seats outside of the supporters sections that aren't bothered either. ain't nothing wrong with 1 or 2 caveman-ish like song that the fans use. there's plenty of other chants and songs that are being sung in the supporters end, so it balances out.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA Have you ever been to another sporting event?? Chanting ysa is a bad representation of the club give me a break.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA The chain of events usually goes like this: ESC guy goes to Europe/SA -> Hears chant/song ->Brings said chant/song home -> catches on with ESC -> ESC makes mistake of singing it at a national team game -> Everyone in MLS now sings it and claims they invented it. See "We Love Ya" for reference. USA v. Argentina...whoops.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA Other teams have been doing We Love Ya well before that game.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA I like them, I really believe having them brings an excitement to the game . These clubs are a big part of the growth of the game in the US. But I think " you suck A**hole" is played out, and I definetly don't like " US Nat'l reject" I think that's a low blow to a player that represents the US. I hope the heads of the the Supports clubs think twice about this chant. That's totally classless. That being said, I have met many of the supports and I think they are cool passionate fans like myself.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA While its not something i'd want to partake in myself (I enjoy watching the game too much), i do enjoy their enthusiasm, and the atmosphere they create. I sit towards the sothern end of the stadium for a reason. I'm not totally behind everything they do (Smoke bombs particularly) but they are still an important part of what makes MLS feel unique in the american sports scene.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA Waching the last Knick game when the fans chanted "These refs suck" after some bad call was really special. I would like to see a chant of "this Ref sucks" when we get screwed on a non call in the box as usually occurs with us. I am not a big fan of the YSA chant as too predictable right now. Need some creativity out of our great supporter groups to stand out from other teams maybe. Supporter groups are great for atmosphere as long as they don't turn on our own players when things don't go well.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA I'll sing my heart out for anyone who puts on a Nat jersey... when they are wearing it. But when they are visiting RBA they aren't representing the USA. they are the enemy and will be treated as such. there are several anti-ref songs that get taken out after bad calls.
Re: Do you like the Supports clubs at RBA I miss RagingBullNation. I don't know what happened to them and I always had fun hanging out with them before/during the games. RBN was enthusiastic but always kept it classy.
