I've been searching Twitter for info about the team. Found a couple players to follow. I got word from Sam Craven that the team is getting their playing kit tomorrow and he'll post photos.
What nationality is Brockman and Craven if you know ? Brockman looks German or Scandanavian while Craven (bald fellow) sounded like a Brit

Had nothing to do with the Cosmos..It was they lied to us. Told us that they were going to play in the 5 boroughs, told us that they talked to the people who ran Belson, Baker Field etc..Well we called the places and no one had heard of them. Will some of us go to games ? yeah..Could they have had our full support ..yep..

From what I've been told that is not the playing kit. I've been told it's a solid light/sky blue top. They also have a white 3rd kit.
Oh god really? This is one of my biggest gripes with US Soccer. No originality in the jersey design and no real vision when trying to tie a team to a region.
I thought the Argentine look-alike kit was to send a message that they're the anti-Cosmos. Since Cosmos are known for a certain Brasilian...

If that's the case, then the stripes should be "hoops" (i.e. horizontal, not vertical). Or a blue top with a central white stripe across the chest, to be more accurate.
I'm pretty sure that press conference was held before the Hammerheads announced they were returning. It may be they thought that design was available.
