No coverage listed on MSG website. Nothing listed on direct TV website. No news from Red Bulls. Is this any way to treat fans?
hahaha owned. We are lucky that we have all of our games televised in the tri-state area. I'm not sure other teams have our luxury.
I have Fios and on the MSG + and MSG +2 channels tv listings for tomorrow at the appropriate time it says The Transit Chapters from 4 to 5, and from 5 to 6 Horse Racing.... At least they are programs that are easy to pre-empt for live action, but it does make you nervous, esp. if (like me) youve got to be out of the house at that time and want to set the DVR. If I wind up recording horse racing I'll be pissed.....
Don't set it to record from the tv listings grid. After you select "Create Recording," go to "Manual Recording" and set the date/time. That way you've got it, no matter what the show title says.
Yes. In fact, I did it for the season opener last week. Turns out FiOS updated the program title in the tv listings sometime on Saturday so my entire 2.5 hour recording is called "Red Bulls Pregame" because that's what was in the grid at 7:00 pm. But who cares what it's called, as long as it recorded the proper channel at the proper time. Despite the DVR being quite fancy, you can still treat it like an old-fashioned VHS VCR and set it to manually record.
TV vs Columbus? Any idea? I have Optimum TV (NJ/Rockland county), but cant find the game in any channel. Is this a not TV game or what? I need to see it or record it. Thanks Elvis Minaya
Re: TV vs Columbus? Any idea? Went to MSG + and it has not been updated yet. The game is not scheduled at 4pm or taped for a later time. I would love to record it at least.
How very odd. I also did the manual recording last week. I started it at 7:00 PM and mine was called Red Bulls Postgame.
Re: TV vs Columbus? Any idea? And outside the tri-state area, MatchDayLive has blocked the game (I am in Pennsylvania, no cable MSG or Dish MSG). Thanks MLS! Ironically, Philly is not blocked for me. And thanks MSG for how you dealt with distributors. The two I had decided you were not worth it. And I tried three ways to pay for watching the game. Teaches me a valuable lesson. I can't wait for MDL on AppleTV so I can not watch Metro another way!
Re: TV vs Columbus? Any idea? Well on the bottom bar of MSG+ The pre-game show starts at 3:30PM So it will be on MSG+ But yes the guide hasn't changed, which is why I hit the DVR to record the two half hour segments between 4 to 5 & the hour segment after them 5 to 6.
Re: TV vs Columbus? Any idea? I'm upstate today where I have Time Warner (I have Cablevision downstate) and didn't want to splurge on MLS Direct. Was a couple minutes after kickoff before I realized it was on MLS Plus here, too. Followed by the Sabres so I guess I was lucky. Had called Time Warner at 3:45 and they said to see the game get Direct. So relieved the rep was wrong!
