OK, so, I just posted this article on BVB forum and they said the BVB don't have £13m to spend or something like that. All these transfer rumours about Honda are driving me crazy :p

    how did he perform?

in his last game in russian cup he seemed a bit "lazy"... making many mistakes and losing easy balls. (but manage to set love face to face with the goalie and not to mention his FK )

He was really at fault for not getting back to defend on that goal. He looked really lazy.

    That's totally him.

Still, the best player on the pitch, set up 3 gigantic chances but the forwards messed everything up.

I thought he had a good match on the right wing, but he suffered an injury in the 1st half which may be why their manager took him off.

Either way, it looks like his dream of European silverware is over, at least for this season.

Nono ;) I think CSKA Moskau would still win the European League, they would punish Porto in their own Stadium like Palermo in the group stages.Moskau only lose 1-0,so nothing special and everything is possible.

The goal Porto scored had almost nothing to do with Hodnda, the sideback was covering the offensive player and then the center back was slightly late on the overlap swith which gave the Porto player enough room and time to get off a great strike. Sounds like people are inventing plays in the game from what I read.

Anyway, he played a good match. Whoever that black striker was(the one without the blue dreadlocks) needs to figure out how to finish. He had 4 chances I believe to score a goal. Plus the ref got the offside wrong on Moscows goal...it was close, but he looked on.

Moscow should have a good match vs Porto at home. They had many chances, but shot themselves in the foot too many times.

It was a very open match, and CSKA should have been gotten at least 1 goal in the first half. Honda played great. CSKA won't beat Porto in the 2nd leg.

I`m very sure Moskau would win against Porto. After the group stage they are maybe the best team with long distance of the European League.I think teams like CSKA Moskau are very very underrated. They are ways better then teams like Porto or something. For compare, look at the players....Akinfeev,Honda,Vagner Love,Doumbia and so on.Maybe I`m wrong but i think Moskau would win the second game with 2 or 3 games difference but let`s see.

    LOL, no.

CSKA made the KO stages of the CL once--last year. Porto do that almost every season. I think CSKA are a solid side, but let's not compare them to one of Europe's best, most consistent teams.

Is Honda injured? He's not even on the bench for the CSKA game.

Hulk, Honda...and who was the other?

Anyways, Porto gets through 3-1 on aggregate over CSKA, so Honda's dream of winning European honours is put on hold for another year. Porto are just a better team than any Russian club, so no shame in getting knocked out for CSKA.

    Cool, didn't know that.

By the way, when Hulk scored a goal in the league this weekend, he raised his jersey to reveal his undershirt, which read "My heart cries for Japan." Very nice gesture.

Honda wasn't as good yesterday as in the 1st leg, but is obviously a great player. Hopefully he moves to the Premier League or Serie A soon.
