Meaning they will play in Detroit, Tampa, and Kansas City during the group stage.

No need to watch Concacaf.com, I just told you how its gonna be. You can take it to the bank. The contracts have already been signed.

    That will happen.

Mexico will be group A (Dallas, Charlotte, Chicago)

USA will have to be group C, otherwise USA and Mexico will play in the Semi's and Concacaf doesn't want that

He is right. If you go to concacaf.com. They already posted a video on the far right, with the venues. And (stupidly) put in the teams that are playing at what time. The US plays at Ford Field first, so they must be group C. This is 20 min before the "draw". I honestly love the stupidity of Concacaf.

USA v Canada in Detroit!! That game wil be a sell out and it will be intense. I predict a few fights at the MGM before and after the game.

Agreed. KC has a fantastic atmosphere. As a fan who attended that WC Qualifier against Costa Rica, Kansas City is the way to go. I am very tempted to go that fixture.

Probably going to take a day and a half off work to drive to Detroit. Might fly down to Tampa, as well.

    Disappointed we "drew" Guadeloupe, though.

You don't know just how tough Guadeloupe (Guadeloop) is my man. That island is just stacked with athletes. I'm debating either Detroit or Kansas City, give me the pro's and con's of both please!

I'm biased since I'm from the area but USA at Ford Field should be pretty good. Location and facilities are a lot better, IMO, then the Silverdome. Much easier access and closer to other things to do.

There's a decent enough fan base here. I'd be surprised if they sell-out, but I'm sure it will be packed.

Those are some cool locations for the U.S.
Does Ford field have a retractable roof?

Great. Charlotte misses out on the U.S. and Jamaica.

Ford Field does NOT have an attractable roof. I hope they have AC inlike the Silverdome......I think it will sell out in Detroit. i expect 20,000 Canadiens to come over for the game. I knwo the Toronto Supporters are already planning for it.

If Ford field holds more than 30K I will be surprised if there is a sellout. Wed night...late.

Don't overestimate the zeal of the average US/Canuck supporter. The internet is the minority, not the majority.

If they got a sellout for this I would look at it as turning point for soccer and the GC in many, many ways.

Our history of support doesn't exactly make one predict huge crowd.

Especially not on a Wednesday night........with a pretty "unsexy" game as part of the double header.

In 2007 we had the Canada-Guate, US-Panama, NE-Columbus tripleheader at Gillette stadium in New England. Those games were on a beautiful weekend June day............and players with NE roots like Dempsey and Ralston suited up for the USMNT. (Maybe Twellman too. I can't remember)

What was the attendance? 22k. And that's generally a good USMNT market. On the following day Mexico-Costa Rica got 70k in Houston.

If we got 30k in Detroit on a Wednesday night, I'd be thrilled with that.

Is that how we won our world cup group? I could have sworn I saw some passing and some teamwork here and there.

Don't get me wrong, I know they can be a solid side. I was just hoping to face 3 FIFA nations in the group stage. I'm not even sure if that match will count as an official cap for our lads.
