Packing the car in Savannah. One the road in 30 minutes. First time in 3 years to the Blackbaud. Let's go DC and Charleston. Ah crap, my two teams playing each other, this is going to suck. Crap, almost forgot my jersey.

after tailgating from about 1pm yesterday, two matches, hanging out in the Three Lions pub (and filling the coffee pot cup!) and then getting up to go watch the ManU Liverpool match I am feeling a bit tired but had a great time regardless the 2-1 defeat

    http://www.postandcourier.com/news/2011/mar/06/dc-united-nips-battery/

there are some pictures from the match there as well

concensus from some of the players after the match was overall it wasnt too bad for three days of training and they were getting a little gassed after the match.

Also some of the veteran players really like the group of trailist. They said that the technical level and talent seems really high this year.

    Next up TFC on Wednesday!

Just wanted to drop in and say that my wife and I had a great time in Charleston on Saturday. The atmosphere was great for the second game and to top it all off we were handed free tickets from some Battery fans tailgating before the game so we didn't even have to pay! We are now considering getting tickets to a few games this summer since it is only about a 2 - 21/2 hour drive for us.

Glad you enjoyed it. Most of us tailgate before the game near the east stand entrance and if we have any extra season tickets no one is using we try to give them away. you must have been one of the lucky ones this past weekend.

I know a couple others that come up from Savanah everynow and then. If you manage to come back let us know. also swing by the tailgate before the match, someone might have extra tickets again.

    another great week.

kudos and safe journey to the guys from Toronto, DC and Chicago that made the trip.

Also to the guys from the Nest and the Port City Firm that journeyed down. Love forward to meetin up with them for the Southern Derby Cup this season.

Thanks to everyone who brought something out for the tailgate and looking foward to a great season.

    Great tournament.

Great experience in the parking lots.

Great fun in the stands - except for that one unfortunate incident and its aftermath.

Fun time in the 3 Lions, especially drinking Guinness from the Cup

You Regiment guys are pure class - and you generic Charleston fans are okay too ;)
