Team looked good yesterday, but Santos no trae nada no need to get too excited. Aquino can play, he needs to be a starter.
Totally agree on Aquino. Araujo has made some rookie defensive mistakes but I think he has potential as well. And Bello has also done well. Good work from the Fuerzas Basicas guys.
One thing I don't understand is why is it that Meza and the directivos fail to recognize that Cervantes and Villaluz are utter shit. I started watching the game yesterday but stopped before the end of the first half. Very boring.
I only watched the second half and it wasn't too bad. Santos had a lot of possession for the first 10 - 15 minutes. Cervantes needs to go. I know he has size but these days it takes a lot more than that to be an effective central defender. His passing is crap and he often gets caught out of position. Villaluz has just plain lost confidence. Can he get it back? Who knows. It's one of those chicken and egg problems - do you keep throwing him out there for him to regain his confidence even though he gives you very little offense, or do you sit him on the bench where he won't regain confidence. I'm guessing he does very well during practice but then crashes out during actual games. That's all I can think of as to why Meza keeps giving him chances.
I had the game on the whole time but just got into it in the second half. We took control in the second half. I agree with Bello, he did good with the minutes he got. You guys are right, it's insane how Meza and his ppl don't realize how much harm Cervantes causes our back line. This guy is a complete clown. Good thing is he's out for acumulacion de tarjetas for the game vs gallos. So, hopefully it gives a chance for one of the young guys to stick on the starting line up. And when the hell is Ponce coming back, damn this guy been out way to long now
