I know it's down the road a bit, but is anyone else concerned with fixture congestion surrounding the CL first leg vs Internazionale? Bayern plays away to Mainz (a side they're chasing) on Saturday, away to Inter on Wednesday and home to Dortmund on the following Saturday. That's three matches in a week's time. Typically Van Gaal would give some players rest ahead of the CL match, right? Will he do it this time given the fact that it looks like a top three finish (and with it, a spot in the CL/CLQ) is not a given this season?
If anyone wants to see it eyeptv has yesterdays training session 6vs6: ----------Butt---------------------- --------Braafheid------------------ Ottl--------Tymo-----Contento-- ---------------Klose--------------- vs ------------Kraft------------------- ------------Van Buyten------------- ---Robben----Gustavo------Altintop-- ----------------Gomez---------------- http://www.eyep.tv/beitrag/1-bundesliga/video/6-gegen-6-12.html
Add to that the recent upturn in Inter form since Leonardo took over. Looks like a tough stretch, but if they (the players) can't get up for that then there is really no use to this season.
Awesome. Great guy. Farewell Demi! PS: Despite LvG being a great coach it is sad to see guys like Lucio, Demi, and Luca Toni leave on such terms. They truly loved the club. But professional sports is a business now.
Man, I almost choked up We will miss a player who loves this club as much as him. In the end we'll always remember him for that one epic season in which he looked like the greatest defender in the world.
I forgot Micho was with us for so long. I remember when he had short hair I think? Top class guy, unfortunately towards the end of his career his skills noticeably diminished. Best of luck to him in Malaga!
Can't wait for the CL to start again...There haven't been any great matches this season so far... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdCZKrD5QIA&feature=related"]YouTube - Manchester United vs. FC Bayern München - HIGHLIGHTS Quarter final 07.04.2010[/ame]
Ribery will be probably be out a little bit longer than expected. He will probably miss the game against Bremen as well. http://www.merkur-online.de/sport/fc-bayern/ribry-wohl-doch-laenger-verletzt-1089076.html
to be expected if you ask me... ... judging by the way he limped off and the way he landed, I suspected the two weeks prediction was simply to appease fans/management in not freaking out that he would be out for longer.
