It's been clear that I'll finish second in my D.V series for some weeks, although I got a piece of the leader last week. Somehow I'm going to have to find the funds to enlarge my stadium and buy a fullback next season.

I have two american NT level forwards and $24m. Is that enough money to fill 9 other positions and do some damage in the cup?

Drew 2-2, not enough to claim the title and ended up slipping into 3rd place.

Not too bad as I didn't pay too much attention this season, be interesting to see if 1st place team tries in the qualifier next week.

I tied the 1st place team 0-0 and cost him the title.

The 2nd place team won 5-1, helped me clinch 4th for the second season running, tied for first place, and won the title on goal differential.

no, not in a game where IM's still rule. Guess it depends how far along you view "some damage"? Knockout Raytown Rangers in round 5 or 6? Maybe you could do that..

I have 9m in the bank and a bunch of 19 yo IM trainees. I might go all the way down and train and sell for a couple more seasons. It's so much easier to promote coming up than it is down.

Cool, then I'll dump as much of that 24m into IM's then and hope the high level forwards overpower with attack.

My forwards are getting a little old and will be falling out of favor (1 already has) with the US NT, might as well burn out the excess funds this season.

Is Mythical/extreterrestrial not high enough PM? I can get some cheap older guys at this level for well under 1m each. figured a mid stocked with that level would be able to compete against some of the top teams.

Also, should I go for wingers that lots of PM just to play towards mid, or aim for a mix of winger/PM attack? Not sure if its best to overload the mid or diversify the attack.

Has anyone had an excellent trainer?

I've got a guy with mag experience. I think I will make him an excellent trainer and build up a whole new set of IMs.

I've not seen anything to change my mind that an excellent trainer is worth it finanically over a solid trainer.

Um..why would they take that away since form is so difficult to manage in HT as it is?

Does lowering training level to less then 100% boost form?

They took it away to stop the old players+general training combo. No, lowering intensity of training just boost your team spirit.

I don't recall, but I have obviously trained him in both since he was a nipper :)

Well, then I guess the question would be. Did you train both by alternating, or was there a big training run of one before a big run of the other?

I did the passing first and then the scoring. IIRC both were reasonable enough to begin with solid/solid, but can't honestly remember.

Currently he is getting scoring and has been for a while.

    Interested in buying him?

I have to sell to buy, so he came out about a week too early. But, otherwise, I would have been glad to get him.

If he bounces back without a purchase, let me know. I'll take a serous look at him then.

It's a struggle, but I keep checking in. I am in a weaker div V this season and will run away with it by the looks of it

So I am taking stock, transferring out older guys on the cheap and bringing in youngsters to get them ready for the survival test of staying in IV.
