Just a place to post those blogs and podcasts we find around the internet about the Timbers. I'll start with the best two I've found by far. One that is by a familiar name on this forum, who is smart enough not to self-promote this great blog. I'm excited to have one looking this good. http://www.stumptownfooty.com Another that gets widely read and is also very good. http://www.droppingtimber.com Put em up.
mao's Football Show Weekly one hour internet radio broadcast. OregonLive - Timbers The Oregonian's internet site plus Kip's Timbers blog Talk Timbers - Strong at Night on 95.5 The Game John Strong's FM show that will be a weekly fixture come next year [I assume]. Has done about 5 or 6 shows in the offseason. This is great because it is on the most listened to radio station in Portland. Sports cred! NOTE: keep an eye on the schedule of Talk Timbers shows, the next is not until Jan 12th.
Let's not forget about: http://SoccerCityUSA.com Also love Prost's Cascadia-centric blog: http://www.prostamerika.com/ And a couple more: http://timbers.theoffside.com/ http://www.timbersinsider.com/
Thanks for the lists. It's not easy following the the Timbers from Central Kansas. Fortunately, my fellow PDXers are avid bloggers and podcasters. It's certainly made being a Blazers fan more enjoyable.
I'm not trying anything fishy, but maybe this should be a sticky and we could condense all the sites into a single post up top?

For those who like desktop backgrounds of your favorite club, the Timbers, this man will satisfy your desire. http://sdkramerphotography.blogspot.com/ Just two of six that he has created. [You'll find a Whitecaps image as well!]
Reactions from both sides following the opener. I'm a big fan of Spenny-hope he does well by the Timbers. http://www.soccer365.com/mls/story_21311160838.php
mao Football Show LIVE Tuesdays 4-5pm (PST) and MFS Match Talk LIVE Fridays 4-5pm (PST) http://mao.cascadia.fm/ "chat about the happenings of the Portland Timbers Football Club. We also delve into the international scene, as well as Major League Soccer and northwest football culture." and if your on twitter: https://twitter.com/maofootballshow
i didnt want to open a thread. if i want statistics about certain players of the team, who should i contact? I was looking at the website and they have a phone number, but they do not have an email or a name. if somebody is close to the club and can provide me with some information, i would appreciate it. thanks.
Could someone tell me why these boards are such a ghost town, and is there an online Timbers community somewhere that sees more dialogue?
www.talktimbers.com www.timbersarmy.org Not to mention a myriad of other boards and blogs that have activity. Bigsoccer never fully developed for the lower tier clubs in the US so alternatives took root for fans in the USL Timbers era.

Hey Timbers fans - I'm looking for a blogger to cover Portland and would prefer it to be a diehard fan. If you're interested, send me a message at mpietrangelo@globalfootballtoday.com.
