Y'know, you should trademark that - it's fantastic I hear some people mention about how the numbers will go down, like they have done for LeBron. But it's not as though they have to share the ball, they can both put up the same if not better numbers and still have studs at 3 and 4. It's quite filthy your rotation.
I know several Phillies fans who would have been happier had we got more offense instead of Lee. However I say to them, who could we have gotten? I think Amaro realized he'd rather give that money to Lee instead of Werth, hope to get Lee and just mow through people ala the 90's Braves with great pitching and defense. My phone blew up at 12:30am with texts about Lee signing. I didn't really believe until I woke up and saw it confirmed. It was like Cliff-mas morning.
Even if their numbers did go down a bit, I'm still frightened. Not as frightened as I am of the Dodgers...because we suck...but you know. Bye bye Martin.

This was boring soccer wise... but American Football has been amazing. I just watched one of the best comebacks by Michael Vick and the Eagles... even my Vikings comeback against the Cardinals last year has been trumped already. My 0h my!
That Eagles game. Jesus. I avoided KDB's texts about the game. Once Jackson returned the punt for a TD did I allow myself to talk to him. Neither of us could quite believe what we just saw.
Jackson is on another level right now in terms of how dangerous he is of reaching the end zone no matter where you have the ball. Was trying to think of a comparison of a player of old.....still thinking
So you know what I am talking about. Lots of people liked to be the Giants or Raiders in that game. I was always a Bears guy because of Singletary and Willie Gault.
Yeah I was always the Niners, my dad was always the Bears or Giants9i think because of Meggett and Otis).
I loved 2009. I'm currently playing the DEMO for FIFA Manager 2011 but I like FM better. Let me know how you like it.
So I guess we'll see you sometime in August then. Goodbye free time I can't believe that I usefully spent my entire teenage years on the various incarnations of championship manager and that it's still going strong today. Love it!
So Dave. Next season. I'm getting some friends together and will be taking the metro to Union Station and then hopping on the Trolley to Dodger Stadium. Saturday game maybe. We must light that blue flame once again.
