    Re: LDU Quito

the consecutive games we've had lately took a great toll in consuming our players energy. That's the result of playing 2 fronts with your main starters. We need exactly 6 points to be in the final against Emelec, no matter how many wins Cuenca or Emelec get. Our players are BEAT now. The last game of the tournamente against Manta will be the easiest. But we gotta play Barcelona this weekend, and then El Nacional and D.Quito. If we can get 3 point out of those 3 games and beat Manta we're good. D.Quito is coming with fire, they gave Emelec one hell of a game today.

My line up for the game vs barcelona:

Dominguez; Guagua, Espinola, Calderon; Gamez, W.Araujo, M.Bolanos(C.Lara), Urrutia, Ganchoso (Ambrossi/Chila); Salgueiro, Luna

Congratulations to LDU Q for winning vs Newell's Old Boys 1-0. Good for Walter "el mamita" Calderón that was almost a forgotten player. Until a couple of months ago, he was at a level that he could be in the National Team. LDU Q has a great chance to win the Copa Sudamericana. Good for them.

i saw that bauza said liga isnt in the copa libertadores yet...im confused. Liga is guaranteed at least second place in the general table so how are we not in libertadores? If we dont go to the final against emelec then do we have to play 3rd place for the final spot?

3-2 already :( man that was a foul. Should have been a penalty for us. Bull crap! This sucks.

If it stays like this how much does Liga have to win by in the next game?

We need either a draw or a win to go through. Independiente get to the final with at least a 1 - 0 win. If it's 2-1 over there they go to the finals. If it's 3 - 2 it will be penalties. 4 - 3 we go through I believe. I hope those away goals conceded don't come back to haunt us. tough week coming for Liga... Aguante Campeon!

    Re: LDU Quito

we'll get through this Liga always puts up a fight in any circumstances and overcomes. Independiente was an extremely strong team, they knew how to play against us. Like I said earlier, Bauza needs to give our guys a rest. They are not machines, he's been using them on both fronts (sudamericana and campeonato), that's INSANE. We need 3 more points in the campeonato and we have a PACKED week coming up vs. D.Quito, El Nacional on monday, Manta, and Independiente in argentina. Obviously we're going to have to use a reserve team for ALL these games unless Bauza is crazy. Even against D.Quito I'd use mostly our B team.

    my line up vs D.Quito:

    Dominguez; Calle, Espinola, Calderon; Gamez, W.Araujo, M.Bolanos, P.Romo, (P.Ambrossi)M.Ganchoso; Cristian Lara, W.Calderon

Our main starters can wait on the bench

    GOOD LUCK CAMPEON!!!

    Re: LDU Quito

How many games Liga has next week?

Many sites say they play El Nacional on monday and 13 and half hours later they face D. Quito. Can't be right? Which game will be postponed?

And Independiente on thursday of course.

    Re: LDU Quito

i just saw that bauza is using the reserves against chiQuito but i still dont see why he doesnt give a chance to Estupinan, he is the top scorer of the reserve leage i think he think he has 25. And i think Bauza should rest Calderon, he is the only won who has played EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF EVERY SINGLE GAME. Bauza should use Dominguez: N.Araujo, Espinola, H.Valencia: Martinez, Urrutia,Bolanos, De La Cruz, Reascos: Barcos, Estupinan. then 2nd half W.Araujo for De la cruz, Chila for Barcos, and Gamez for Reascos

    Re: LDU Quito

yeah but we're 11 goals apart from each other. Anything can happen. But that would mean we'd have to get crushed by 2 teams and Emelec would have to win both AWAY GAMES. Don't think it is probable. And winning or even getting a tie against Manta in our last game doesn't seem hard. And our B team can beat D.Quito if we manage to work hard.

The big problem we need to worry about right now are that Salgueiro and Luna are injured/on a thread of getting injured. Who's to blame? Bauza. B/c he didn't get our B team to mix with the A team during campeonato games which caused all this drama. A player can only last so long, they're not machines. Barcos is healing up right now, and the past 2 weeks or so he's been struggling. Salgueiro's good moment is being taken advantage of TOO MUCH by lining him up EVERY game. Luna needs a break too during the campeonato matches. Why not use Lara or Miller Bolanos who has excellent games and enough talent to play their positions in the campeonato games? it pisses me off. We're risking a players health when we got a good bench.

My line up for Thursday vs Independiente:

    Cevallos; Guagua, N.Araujo, Calderon; Reasco, Urrutia, W.Araujo, De La Cruz, G.Chila; M.Bolanos (C.Lara); H.Barcos

How do you guys think liga will play?? They cant afford to play defensive this game because if independiente scores one goal its over.

    Re: LDU Quito

you right, Independiente is much more aggressive than Newells when it comes to attacking. But if we attack them too then we'll be leaving lots of open spaces for them. It's a tough one.

Did any see the Independiente vs Tolima game? I heard it was a tight one, both home and away.
